Chapter Fifteen

You stiffen when you feel Julianic get in the bed you relaxing when you feel him put the baby between you two. He gets under the covers slithering a hand around your waist.

" You awake?"

" Is this fine?"

".. Sure.."

Things go quiet for a second.

" I'm sorry for what I said a week ago about... the mindless fucking bit. It was uncalled for. I'm just scared you're brainwashed. Your body is a temple. You should treat as such."

" It's just our ways."

" What about our son? Do you want him to go through that."

" He won't have too. Our suffering will make it where they're the most powerful beings there is, and the Gods on Earth will reign on to make the world a better place."

" That sounds like brainwashing. Basically y'all are making your own species."

" My beliefs are different though. I'm a hunter remember? I seek only peace and justice especially for the children."

" What if they don't want to be Hunters?"

" They don't have to be, but I'm sure they'll do what's right."

" Which is?"

" Just help people."

" So you admit there's a bad side to this breeding?"

" Yep. I then hunt the beings that go out of line."

" What's out of line to you?"

You think carefully what you're about to say.

" Endangering or ending people's lives. I admit there are chances when the elite see the stonelings as too powerful though I don't agree to discarding them."

" What's too powerful?"

" That's enough for tonight."

He props himself on one elbow removing his arm.

" Y/n, this is important to me. Please tell me."

" These type of things get people killed."

" No one is going to kill you my queen. Never will that happen."

" I have to think of the Hunters. They know I'm close to Jacob. He wouldn't survive. Lets drop it please."

" As your husband, you can trust me. I can be sly with things."

" They'll know it's me. They'll rat me out quickly. I'm sorry."

He pauses sighing as he turns his back to you. It honestly kind of hurt, but you don't do anything. You finally broke a little.

" Some stones go back decades. Imagine fourty years of hard work put into one little stone. Some are already born and are ready to have children."

" Thank you for telling though I can tell you know more. I'm not going to push it any further. Just tell me. Can they take me on?"

" It's more like she. Lets say shes pissed at the rocklings situation."

" Can I get a name?"

" I don't know it. It's like you say. Names hold power."

You were lying about this, but you couldn't be a complete snitch.

He kisses you on the back of your head cuddling back up even closer this time. You turned around not liking your back was facing the baby. He smiles as he caressed your face.

" See? We're a team now my queen! We can changed this all for the better!"

" Leave that to the Hunters."

" They can only do so much. I have some good news for you. The arranged marriages are mostly off though some are still being requested to come wanting to know their children. The suitors are only optional. The Gods are honestly scared about an uproar if they're forced. They will be severely monitor though."

" Are you serious?! That's such a relief."

" Except out of course. We have this adorable baby that'll forever connect us."

He kisses Ravenic Angelicí on the head before meeting your lips. You gently kissed back making him moan a little having a dying desire for your love. He holds on before pulling away due to the child. He wraps his mini Artemis you welcoming it. He isn't so bad. When he looked back your way, you were gone. He sits up his eyes flaring black his feathers ruffling as he shouts out wondering where you went.

" Y/n! Father, she's gone! She's fucking gone! Someone took took her!"

" Well, glad to have you back."

You were face to face with vampire boy a garnet laying on the table. Someone rushes behind you turning you around and cupping your face in their hands.

" Are you okay?"

You blushed at Valentine not expecting this. You put your hand over his nodding. He takes a breath of relief letting go of you. You look back at the garnet now recognizing it as your own though now you see someone was added and had a strong hold on the egg. The rockling cracked in your grasp, and you both instantly babied it you understanding who the father is. He smiles at you as you take in he's the father him leaning in a bit closely just to gaze at you. You smiled though Julianic is at the back of your mind now. Life was just so complicated now making you push slightly away him noticing the guilt on your face.

" *Cough* Give someone else a chance. *Cough*"

" Draco. All is fair in love and war."

The vampire falls silent suddenly tackling you in a hug before your eyes can comprehend his movement. It was almost like a blur, and it nearly scared you. You said fuck it and hugged back him flipping Valentine off behind your back earning himself an eye roll. As you two part, you look at the two saying Julianic would be on his way soon.

" No he won't. We just officially made a threat using Alexis's connection to their world. We're threatening of provoking the snakes that make up the Earth."

You went pale slowly revealing your snake rings to the two Valentine only realizing what it meant. You informed them of the day you received the rings, and the two of you look at each other knowing you would choose them anyway. At least they hope.

" I think that marriage proposal is off the table now."
