Chapter Seventeen

" And I miss you the whole time.."

" I missed you too. Do you realize what I was dealing with? Having these snake rings end up being a big deal, and I almost end up being forced on the wrong side. Now, I can stay neutral-."

" No you will not. You will not let those snakes move!"

" Of course I won't let them move! Everyone will die! I just have to act like I will."

" What about the demigods? We're you going to fight them?"

" Hell no! That goes against everything I believe in. I was actually going to fight with them and the Hunters, but Valentine convinced me to sit out of it for the sake of our son."

" All he fucking wanted was to make it appear you were on his side-."

" He's not on their side! He's in a bind. The elite end up getting involved with these scenarios to get under their skin and figure out a way to end it. Trust me. I know!"

" He's no good! I am your husband! Why won't you listen to me?!"

" We are not FUCKING married!"

" Not yet!"

" WHY COME YOU'VE NEVER ASK IF I WANTED TO MARRY YOU?!"

Julianic looks hurt, but he doesn't stop tugging at your emotions.

" Will you marry me?..."

His voice cracked your strong exterior melting away instantly.

" Be my wife... please. I'll adopt them... Are you in love with him?"

" I don't know what love is Julianic."

" But when you look at me now, that's all I see sometimes-."

" I want to see my son, so I don't feel like a bad mother please..."

" Okay my love... can I rock you and him? It'll be coming."

" Okay... my love."

" See? There you go! Lets go see our son. I think the place beside the alter would be the best place for his siblings."

" After you mother analyzes them."

" Along with your father."

You watch the two enter the chambers smiling though they don't appear happy. You watch as Julianic hands over the children trusting him. You watch his mother frown feeling remorse for you.

" I sense some still births Y/n. I'm sorry."

" The rest of the the gems will be impregnated the right way. You will promise my son over thirty children, do you understand? These words are not of my own, but he is your husband now. It's been official. Now I will ask once. Do you have a child with anyone else?"

You looked at Julianic him becoming sorrowful. He suddenly touches your belly saying 'here?', and you shake your head. He asked if it was Valentine's, and you nodded explaining to him what happened. He feels better that you hadn't agreed to this process mentally cursing himself and the red head.

" Thank you for being honest. I'm assuming you want to be in their life-."

" Father, she has to marry twice."

Julianic didn't want your heart broken.

" Do you honestly think they're going to allow that? Juno and Jupiter already have a promising candidate. They seek Pan's throne, and I seek the Fae Realm. That's the end of discussion."

" Don't I have a choice?"

" Right now you choose our son if you want these children in your life."

" Don't threaten her father!"

" Hush. I'll do as I please. Now leave and check up on your first born."

They leave at that, and you were speechless. You eventually turn towards Julianic remembering what you've done with Valentine. How do you simply forget that? You sigh leaning against him him wrapping and arm around your shoulders. He gives you a kiss on the head as he leads you to your son. You smiled once you made it to that familiar door. The baby giggles when you enter having miss their mother. You begin crying hating that you were away when you should of been here. You were just so happy to see your stonelings. Now you have both, and you could finally breathe. Almost. The Hundred were at the back of your mind as you hug the child. You think at Valentine's involvement and being involved with them finding it so risky. You know his heart was in a good spot, so you continue to believe in him. Maybe though you have to leave him behind. Maybe that life is no longer yours. Julianic sees you're thinking and frowns at this wishing you could just live in the moment.

" I feel like a coward of I hide here."

" I wouldn't consider it hiding. It's now your home."

" What what about my family back on Earth? If I could take down the Hundred, I would be at ease. I have all my children, and it's not a bad life."

" I'm surprised you said that. I'm scared you'll forever hate this place. Are you seriously thinking about leaving that world behind?"

" It would be the best for my children. That's only if I can figure out a way to protect them. I could turn the snakes against them, but that's not enough. They'll kill everyone I love including my child on Earth. I need something to wipe them out somehow."

" Let's take the child from Valentine. I'll adopt my love. Maybe their stone can still take on people."

" But Valentine-."

" Is a story that'll never happen. I'm sorry. You have to get use to this life."

You bit your tongue feeling him take you to the rocking chair about to cry for your associates. Julianic is begging by this point for you to stop crying him dragging you into his lap. You climbed on top with your crotch touching his. You roughly kiss him needing the attention. He matches your energy his eyes going doey as you grind against him. He nearly couldn't control himself feeling your heat, but he was able to stop you seeing you were doing this out of pain.

" My love, just sit in my lap. It'll make you feel better. Better than what sex can do."

You nodded curling up into him your face resting in his neck. He occasionally kissed you not able to help himself.

" Can we go lay down my love?"

You paused Valentine's face burning in your memory.

" Can the baby lay with us?"
