Chapter 16

"Doesn't look like any enemies are here now."

After Tenka's attack was finished, Yuuki and Nagisa were patrolling the area to check if the were any more enemies or any shuuki left in the area. The moment they checked a third time, they went back to both the seventh and sixth unit as they told their report on the patrol. The moment this happened, Nei stepped up in front of everyone and bows her head.

"I'm sorry, everyone. Even though I have clairvoyance, I still couldn't fi-"

"None of that."

Before Nei could finish that thought, Nagisa playfully chopped the girl's head. With a small smile on his face, he did something that he wouldn't even allow Yuuki to do. He took out his phone and decided to let Nei play any game that was on it.

"You noticed them before they could attack us while our guard was down. So they couldn't attack us in secret. I think you did pretty amazing, Nei-san."

"Thank you!"

Soon both units agreed to end the competition in a draw as they each returned to their respective base. As Tenka used her ability to transport herself and the rest of the Sixth Unit back to the base, all of them were now sitting on a couch.

~Sixth Unit Base~
As the girls took a bath together, they all thought about the situation that happened. They didn't expect to be attacked like this, however, one more situation occurred that none of them expected. In fact, it still was fresh on their minds.

"Oi, get out of the way, fucker."

Nagisa wasn't acting like himself during the attack. Not only that, but that strange mark appeared on his face. The girls couldn't help but wonder what happened to the boy to cause this reaction. However, the moment he got into his bed, Nagisa immediately passed out and they wouldn't be able to get an answer. Soon Tenka and Sahara were surprised to hear Yachiho break the silence.

"You know, maybe he isn't so bad after all."

"Eh, what's this all of a sudden, Yacchi? Are you finally starting to warm up to Nagi-chan?"

"No!!! I'm just saying that he did better than expected during the match, that's all. I will admit, him being there did make it easier to breathe. Though I could've taken them both on by myself."

"Hmmmm, knowing Nagi-chan, he'd probably remind you that you almost got beaten in one hit."

As Sahara said this, she felt Yachiho lightly hitting the top of her head. Though, Sahara began to think about something. Nagisa definitely put in the most effort since he doesn't have any powers. Yet he didn't really get anything for showing his hard work. Soon she began to think back on Yuuki and how Slave works. Soon a smile formed on her face as she looked at Yachiho.

"Yacchi, I have a fun idea to pass the time. Plus this could be your way of returning the favor to Nagi-chan."

"......well, the thought of owing him doesn't sit well with me. Fine, what's your idea?"

Soon Sahara began to whisper in Yachiho's ears. As the Azuma's face was slowly turning red, Tenka giggled before she transported back to the 7th Unit's base to meet with Yuuki. The moment this happened, Sahara looked at Yachiho and saw the girl slowly nodding her head.

"Hehe. Alright, Operation:Reward, Sixth Unit Edition is a go!!!!"

"We need a better name for this."

Various children were seen walking in the depths of Mato. All of them wearing a rags as they were collared. The one leading them was a woman who use to work for the Anti-Demon Corps. While the children were to be lead by her, the teenage girls and young women were taken away to help test a theory that was asked once while Peaches were still being researched.

Among the children was a black haired boy with blue eyes that seemed to have no life in them. Left, right, up, down, no matter where he looked, he couldn't find his sister at the time. Everytime he asked his captor where his sister was, she always responded with the same sentence.

"She's preparing for her wedding."

As he heard this, the young boy looked around Mato as he saw them. The various bodies of young women after they had their so called "wedding". The woman who had the kids in her grasp was tasked with two assignments. Capture anyone that was caught in a Mato Incident and to dispose of anyone that didn't have a peach ability while sending the girls off to get ready for the wedding.

"Don't worry, boys. I promise, the young miss will take good care of the girls. As for you all, we have a special place for you all to stay."

As the woman smiled while saying this, she began to look at some documents. Various things were written upon it. However, just one question was left unanswered. As a former scientist, she wanted to solve this theory. She couldn't do this within the Anti-Demon Corps due to how everyone rejected the idea and how unethical it was. She wanted the answer, she needed the answer. She didn't care how many times she made a wedding happen, she will find the solution to this burning question in her mind.

What would happen if a shuuki mated with a woman who devoured a peach?

As he was slowly opening his eyes, Nagisa felt bitter after recalling what happened to him in the past. The moment he tried to get comfortable in his bed, Nagisa realized that he wasn't able to move that much as he felt very warm. The moment he tried to get up, he could've sworn he heard a light moan as he felt something warm and soft on both of his arms.

"Ah, morning, Nagi-chan."

"...it's about time you woke up, Tomioka."

As Nagisa heard these familiar voices, his eyes went completely wide. Both Sahara and Yachiho were hugging him from both sides as they were in nothing but their underwear. Seeing this, Nagisa only had one thought on his mind.

"................wait, did I actually score and not remember it? I call bullshit."
