• THE YEAR IS 2071 •
The streets within the city were quite packed during the daytime where people needed to go about their day, running their usual errands, going to work and so on.
Amongst this crowd was a young girl, making her way towards a familiar diner she often visited. As she was walking, she was also enjoying the music that was blasting at a decent volume within her high-tech light blue headphones that fitted comfortably on her head. On both sides of the headphones were round, little black touch-screens, which gave access to many controls, such as higher or lower volume, noise cancellation, and more. They were her favorite pair. She brought them everywhere with her.
The music she was listening to created a bright and lively atmosphere around her and put her in a good mood. She almost wanted to dance from how good she felt—but it was impossible to due so as she made her way across the street, doing her best not to bump into one of the million people around her. After successfully making her way across the street and towards the diner, she let out a breath and took her headphones off her head, letting it hang on her neck with the loud music now off.
"Ah! Surprised to see you made it so early." a familiar voice had spoke out to Ara as she entered the diner. Walking into the diner was like taking a step back in time, as the the place carried what they liked to call a 'vintage' or 'old school' vibe. No robots worked there, just regular, more so lower class people. You didn't order your food through your device, you had to order off a regular normal menu on the table and through a waiter or waitress. It also had more of an American-diner style, similar to the popular American diner, Waffle House.
"Ara!" Another familiar voice spoke out to the same girl. "Hey Kenji! Hey Eunbi!" Ara happily replied to the two. Their voices were probably the loudest thing within the place, as the music playing through the rusty speakers was pretty quiet, and mainly older lower class people were eating inside the diner. It wasn't a very popular place or was really in the best condition, but the gang didn't mind as their friend Eunbi worked there, and they enjoyed seeing her no matter where she was.
"Nice color, did you get your hair done recently?" Eunbi asked as she stood behind the counter and laid her hands on it. She was currently in her waitress attire. Her hair color was a chocolate brown while her eyes shined brightly with the color orange. "Yeah! Just got it done yesterday, didn't post about it though cause I wanted it to be a surprise to the others." Ara explained as she walked towards her two friends. Her hair was long and recently dyed like a light ginger-orange. The color suited her well. Her outfit consists of her usual style, jeans and a graphic-tee. As of right now, her eyes are still a normal dark brown.
