Apology

Sorry everyone for not releasing a new chapter for this story for a long time, school has kept me very busy, thank you everyone for waiting patiently, I always read every comment from everyone and I appreciate your support so much ♡

You quickly pulled your hand back with a few red streaks on your face . Perhaps Colton saw, he smiled slightly before picking up your things to help you.

-"Here, once again I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it and I will be more careful."-Colton said with your heavy bags in his hands.

-"No problem, enough with the apology, I don't mind."-You said, just as you raised your hand to prepare to receive your bags, a gurgling sound came from your stomach. Your face turned red with embarrassment and took a few steps back.

-"uh...shit...."-You stammered, embarrassment making you unable to complete your sentence.

-"Why don't we go have breakfast? Let me make up for this."-Colton said and gently held your hand, you looked into Colton's eyes.

-"Please Y/N."-Colton said .

-"So where are we going to eat?"-You said with a light smile. Hearing your question, Colton smiled brightly.

-"I know a very good breakfast restaurant nearby , can we go now ?"-Colton said and you nodded, you and him walked to that breakfast restaurant .

You reached out with the intention of taking the bags back from Colton, he seemed to notice and stopped your hand.

-"Let me hold it for you, this is what a man should do . Beside , I can't let a cute lady hold heavy things."-Colton said and winks at you.

You smiled slightly and nodded, ahead was the breakfast restaurant

The restaurant has a "warm" look, the walls are painted light green and the windows are transparent with white trim , it's still in the mall.

Colton opened the door for you and you went in first, choosing a table in the corner and sitting down.

-"Are you allergic to anything Y/N?"-Colton asked you as he gently placed your bags on the chair.

-"I don't."-You shook your head slightly.

The waiter comes and takes both of your orders.

-"2 glasses of orange juice, toast and fried eggs will arrive in a few minutes."-The waiter said and left.

-"Y/N, do you mind if I ask how you met my cousin? Crimson."-Colton said.

-"Uh..... Probably for the good of the family."-You said, your voice tone was a bit sarcastic.

-"Oh, sorry..."-Colton's voice gradually softened, he seemed to notice the change in your tone.

A few minutes later, the waiter returned with your and Colton's dishes in hand.

You and Colton had breakfast and left the store. He still held your bag and offered to take you home. After all, you were both on the same road, so of course you agreed.

Arriving in the middle of the shopping center lobby, just a few dozen meters away from the shopping center, gunfire erupted from somewhere, the sound of continuous firing and screaming of everyone was emitted and echoed back to where you was standing .

Apparently there's a robbery going on here.

You took a few steps back and accidentally hit your head on Colton's chest. He suddenly hugged you and held you in his arms as you both were startled by the sudden sound of the gun going off again.

The gunshot stopped and you raised your head, at the same time Colton lowered his head and both of your faces were almost touching each other just an inch away.

You were startled and pushed him away, taking a few steps back.

-"Oh I'm sorry, sorry, sorry."-You said awkwardly, you pushed him quite hard even though he was...protecting you, it could be considered that way.

-"Oh no problem, as long as you're fine, let's get out of here."-He said, you and Colton ran out the door and to the parking lot.

Colton drove a jet black convertible, he came over and opened the car door for you, you sat in the car and he closed the door.

The car drove away and headed towards Crimson's mansion.

Colton got out first and opened the car door for you. You got out of the car as he took the bags for you.

-"Alright , I can take it from here, thank you."-You said with a gentle smile and reached out to receive your bags. Colton gave it to you and got in the car, you waved at him and he drove away.

Turn around and enter the villa, the bodyguards in front of the door looked at you for a few seconds before looking forward again, noticing and feeling uncomfortable, you opened the door and entered the living room.

The house seemed empty, it seemed like everyone had gone somewhere. Passing by the creepy decorations on the wall, you return to your room. You have never liked those decorations, but this is NotaMafia town, perhaps all the houses here are decorated like that. At home, you also have decorations with horns that represent the 'achievements' your family received.

Putting the items you bought in the closet, you saw the wooden box again, a guilty feeling arose inside you. Guilt and self-blame, these are the only two things you can do now.

Revenge ? Not likely, if you're lucky you'll get what you want but if not....oh Satan, perhaps Crimson will stain this yard with the blood of your entire family.

It's already dark, you've been in your room all afternoon, your stomach growls again.

Mumbling in discomfort due to constant hunger, you decided to go to the kitchen and find something to eat. Of course you will be hungry, you skipped lunch.

Leave the room door and close it, there is no one in the 2nd floor hallway. Walking down the stairs, you hear loud whispering sounds, the sound of glass breaking and the scream of someone who seems very angry.

Looking at the place where the loud noise came from, the dining room door suddenly opened and men in suits walked out, one dragging a corpse with a bullet through the head along with a trail of blood flowing to the places where the body was dragged.

You were stunned for a few seconds before walking towards the dining room, Crimson was sitting in the chair at the head of the table, the one he usually sat in and turned towards the fireplace.

He seemed pensive and angry.

-"Come here , sit darling , dinner will be served right now."-Crimson suddenly said right when you were about to leave quietly.

Crimson turned his chair around and motioned for you to sit next to him, his expression turned neutral.
