Ben captured the girl... and I was hiding behind a wall upon the Starkiller base while I spotted Ben storming out of the room she was in. He then walked past me, unnoticed, before I ran into the room. The girl was startled as the door closed and I ran up, beginning to unrestraint her.

"We don't have much time. I have a blaster for you to use but try not to get caught. Take a left from the room and keep going until you find the emergency ships. They're easy to control. Can you fly a ship?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Good, you'll have no problem them..." I then paused, as I felt Ben getting close. "Go! Don't tell anyone about this."

"Wait!" The girl grabbed my arm. "Why are you helping me?" I looked at her for a moment.

"I don't know... but I don't feel right... on this... I just want to help... somehow..." I said. The girl smiled and pulled me towards the door.

"Come with me... We can help each other escape..."

"No... I can't..."

"Why?"

"My brother... he will hate me forever... try to kill me..."

"Or... you'll show him the mistake he's making..." He was getting closer as I examined the girl.

"Okay... I'll go with you. Here." I handed her a blaster as I grabbed my lightsaber.

"Wait! What's your name?" she asked.

"Zebediah."

"I'm Rey." I smiled and nodded.

"Good! Let's go." We left the room and ran down the hall, silently, making sure no Stormtroopers spotted us.

From this alcove, we could see down another long, perpendicular walkway- on one side, a stone and steel wall. On the other side, a vast atrium, with a railing-free drop off, the white pill-light design descending hundreds of feet. At the end of this walkway is an open hangar door, revealing hundreds of TIE Fighters parked out. Yet, there were bunches of stormtroopers on either side of us.

Quickly, we ran across the walkways and climbed down, our fingertips disappearing over the edge just as the Troopers approach and continue. We strenuously cross-climbs to an invisible service hatch, which I open, and climb inside the wall, closing the hatch behind us.

A remarkable image, inside the inner workings of the base. Tiny by comparison, the girl and I climb amid the incredible infrastructure, a drop to infinity beneath us. We were between the light source and the white pill shapes, as we make our way across. We then climbed into the space beneath us and towards the exit. We climbed up and out back onto the floor and I instantly ignited my lightsaber at a sound behind us. I turned and saw three people

Han, Chewie, and Finn.

They all aimed their guns at me as I stepped back.

"What the hell is this?" Finn asked. I had my eyes on Han, and he was looking at me.

"No! No! Wait! He's on our side... he helped me escape... he wants to help us..." Rey said.

"How can we trust him?"

"I trust him..." Han said, stepping forward. I closed my lightsaber and frowned as he lowered his blaster. He then pulled me into a tight hug and I couldn't help but let a stray tear fall from my eyes.

"I've missed you, Dad..." I said, causing Rey, Finn, and Chewie to gasp.

"Dad?!" Han hugged me tighter before I sensed Ben coming. I then moved away from him, gripping my lightsaber tighter.
