~ Mixed POV ~

"So now that's all done with.. What shall we do?" Giyuu asked nervously, still looking at Obanai as he spoke.

Obanai though, he started to think deeply, which caused him to look away. "Oh, em," Obanai started to mutter things to himself before continuing, "Well, I'm kind of hungry now.. All that crying earlier really did a number on me, you know..? So.. Maybe we can go and eat somewhere."

Honestly, if Obanai hadn't mentioned food, Giyuu probably wouldn't have noticed how hungry he actually is. In fact, just the thought of  Sake Daikon made his stomach growl.. It didn't take long for Obanai to notice, and laugh.. Though, Giyuu stayed silent.

"I'll take that as a yes, then? Me and Mitsuri used to go to this one place a lot.. It's called  豪華な食事 (luxurious meals')," Obanai laughed, but continued on. "It's not that luxurious though, I'm pretty sure it just says that to get more visitors. Despite that though, it's not a bad little spot. So, how about it?"

Unlike pretty much every other  thing, Giyuu was able to decide and answer quickly.

"Yes, sure..!"  Giyuu spoke, before continuing, "You.. You come up with great ideas, Obanai.. Yeah, I'm sure it'll be great!" Giyuu spoke in such a way now, to where he seemed to rhapsodize over Obanai just suggesting that they do that..

Obanai noticed this too, but wasn't upset. He thought it was silly, and kind of cute even.. Like a child who had just been offered to be given a treat.

"Well then, 豪華な食事 it is. Let's get going, I'll lead the way," Obanai  spoke in a relaxed tone, and out of habit, held out his hand. Once he realized he did that though, he moved his hand back right away, with pure embarrassment clear on his face.

Giyuu noticed, but didn't think much of it, and just walked alongside Obanai once he started to go. The mid-fall leaves crunched under their feet, making each step as loud as pouring cereal into a plastic bowl, just about. The sound of rustling branches was prominent too, as squirrels and other little creatures were preparing for the winter. The walk was just perfect, the gentle breeze from earlier still blowing occasionally in small, short little gushes. However, it wasn't too long before they arrived at the stand. Obanai automatically nodded his head at the man, as the man did the same back. Tomioka, he didn't do anything.

"Oh, hello there, Mr Iguro!" the man welcomed Obanai, and looked around for someone.. "Where's that young lady you usually come with?"

"Oh, um.. She wasn't hungry," Obanai tried to speak casually of the event, although it still hurt. He continued on anyways, "So, I just brought a friend." He signaled his hand over to Giyuu, who just awkwardly waved.

"Oh, I see," the old man went silent for a while, and he seemed to be thinking about something. He shook it off though, and quickly continued talking, "Well then, what can I get you young men today?"

Obanai looks over to Giyuu, to see if he was ready. Giyuu delivered a gentle nod, and Obanai started off with his order.

"I'll just have Totoro Kombu," he ordered so casually, as if it was a daily thing for him.. And it basically is.

"U-um.. and I'll have Sake Daikon, if you don't mind.." Giyuu however, was the exact opposite.

He was fidgeting with his fingers, and even stuttering.. Everything about him was just showing how nervous he was, he clearly wasn't too great with doing things like this. He tried his best though, at least...

The old man nodded, and told the order to the 'chefs' in the back. Meanwhile, Obanai and Giyuu had already found a table, of which they sat right across from each other. Obanai was staring at Giyuu, however.. Giyuu hadn't noticed. He was looking all around the room, trying to fully understand his surroundings. When he snapped back, it was because their food was already at their table. The waitress set it down, and swiftly left.

Giyuu grabbed his food as Obanai did the same. Giyuu was so eager to eat that once he had it sitting in front of him, he started to eat it.. So quickly, that he was basically inhaling it at this point. This flabbergasted Obanai, where he didn't even eat his food yet.. He just stared, surprised. He knew Mitsuri was like this, though, he wouldn't expect Tomioka Giyuu, the Water Hashira AKA the emo, to eat that much. He wasn't judging though.. Not badly.

Once he realized he was staring, he began to eat his food, and quickly, Giyuu finished. He sat down his bowl, and let out a content sigh, barely able to hold back his smile. However, because he ate it all so quickly, he had to wait for Obanai to slowly finish his now too.. Not that this bothered Giyuu.. Now, he was slightly blaming himself for eating it so quickly instead of just eating it like a 'normal person'. To speed things up, he decided to talk. Not anything that Obanai would need to answer, but just to keep this from becoming an awkward silence.

"That was.. Good," Giyuu muttered those words quietly, looking to the side while nervously fiddling with his fingers. "Thank you for taking me here."

Obanai, unable to verbally respond due to the seaweed he was eating, just nodded, and gave him a thumbs up. Obanai too, clearly loved this place.. Though, maybe not as much as Giyuu probably does now.

It didn't take too long for Obanai to finish his food, or a lot of time for them to pay for their order. Originally, Obanai was going to do it.. but, Tomioka kept insisting.. So they just ended up splitting the bill. After paying, they both left 豪華な食事, and started walking back to where they came from..

The sky was now a beautiful shading of colors.. Red, pink, orange, yellow, purple, and even blue lit up and colored the sky. It was already late, not that it wasn't pretty late earlier, but.. Walking all the way down to 豪華な食事, eating, and walking back sure did take a lot of time. Once they arrived back, they looked at each other again.

"I guess we should split up, huh..?" Giyuu asked, quietly, before continuing, "Well.. It was fun being with you, even if.. you know, that happened today. If you need any help, remember that.. I'm here, alright..?"

Obanai listened, and nodded his head. "Yes, I know.. And I will. It was fun being with you as well," Obanai turned, and began to leave while waving his hand, "I'll see you tomorrow, goodbye, Tomioka-san..." Then, he left, going into his estate.

Giyuu just watched, waving gently, before he too went back to his estate. He then got ready there, and went to sleep.
