'Will I finally rest now..?' Cale felt his limbs becoming numb, as if he were falling into the deep oceans. He stared off into the emptiness without effort. There was light at the top, and darkness at the bottom, but so was there rest.
Mumbled sounds could be heard from above.
"Cale-nim! I'll —— you! Hang ———!" A hand extended their reach out forward to Cale.
His vision was blurry, but he could still see the black-head, Choi Han, he assumed. Yet he made no effort to reach and continued to sink.
"Hold —! Cale-nim!"
"Young ma——!"
Others came to reach him, but none succeeded.
"You can't ——- —! I'll —— every—— — you —!" Even the young black dragon came rolling in desperately.
"MmmmMMmmMmm!!"
He was getting farther.. and farther... the sounds he once understood were no longer decipherable. Cale closed his eyes, was death always this calm? Had he known, would he not had been afraid?
Flinch!
Cale's eyes snapped open.
This wasn't what he felt before, it was calm and peaceful, now it was dark and eerie.
'What's happening?' He thought. Then it hit him, he was drowning, but he couldn't drown? Not with everyone and everything fighting to protect him. It was strange.
"My child..."
God of Death.
Must've been him again.
"Something has happened."
'What happened?' It was always something happening and never nothing happening, that made Cale sick and tired.
"I don't know. But it's not me this time!"
They sounded guilty, but it just proved they've done something in the past.
"It's another god! An outsider as well!"
'An outside god...?' Cale asked himself. 'What's the point of knowing, I'm going to die anyways.'
"I won't be able to talk to you easily anymore, so.. please hold out for just a bit more!"
Why did they sound so desperate? Cale wanted to know.
"Uh oh... Cale!"
"My child!"
"—————-!"
