But wait, didn't they say they couldn't reach out to him anymore? They lied.

'What is it?'

Cale was in a dream, the one where he could speak with GoD, which irritated him the most.

"You can hear me!"

They cheered, happily.

"It took so long! I'll make this quick."

'You better.'

"So... an outside god dragged you into another world, which made it very difficult to contact you. But in this world, you are somehow connected to it!"

'How am I connected to it? I've never been here!'

"I don't know!"

'You never know!'

"But- but I gathered some information to help you!"

'Just spit it out already.'

"So apparently you were the past Shadow Monarch's wife"

'Figured already.'

"A- and not just that, you were quite influential! You commanded a large piece of the shadow army, which are souls that were converted to soldiers by the Shadow Monarch, which made you valuable to the monarch."

'Is that why Jinwoo wanted to get closer with me?'

"But the Shadow Monarch died, and another person inherited what he left behind."

'So I was correct.'

"That's all I found about you in this world. Anyways, I think the god dragged you here because this world is ending soon."

'What...?'

"Beings from other worlds are invading this world, so they must've took you here because you were able to fend off beings in our world."

'Shit. Stuff like this just won't stop causing me trouble!'

"My child, My connection is getting bad, I'll talk to you another time when I can! And I'll come back with more information for you!"

'Thanks.'

"My—-!

Cale suddenly woke up, sweating and panting heavily. He took a few deep breathes, calming down. 'This is just too much.' He curled up into a ball, frustrated, 'why can't I just go to a world where it's peaceful?!' Cale wondered why. 'What's this?' His attention shifted.

He felt himself being watched.

"Who's there?" He called out.

"My queen."

Cale started at the 3D black figure in front of him.

"Please do not be cautious of me, I am only here to protect you, my queen."

'Is this one of the shadow soldiers GoD said I commanded over?' Cale wondered.

"Yes, my queen. I was once under your command when you were beside the previous Shadow Monarch."

It seemed to be able to read his mind.

"When I heard you came back, me and my comrades returned."

The shadow, behind anything devoid of light, revealed more shadow creatures.

"We greet the queen, who has returned to their rightful place. Please, let us serve you once again."
