"Should I make a public announcement?" Cale asked. He really wanted to stop this madness. "Or join a guild?"
Jinwoo smiled cunningly, "why don't you join my guild then?"
Cale scrunched his brows, "no thank you."
Jinwoo expected this answer, but it was still worth a shot. "How are you going to make a public appearance then? It's not like a reporter's just going to come out of no where."
"I'll just contact one of them then." Cale pulled out his phone.
Jinwoo had a weakening smile.
Cale started typing in some numbers in his phone.
"Hi."
Ring! Ring!
"Hello, mr. Cale. Are you perhaps interested on having a 2 on 1 interview? Our team are—"
"Yeah. Make on as soon as possible." Cale interrupted them.
"Yes, yes. We'll be available tomorrow, how does that sound?"
"Alright."
Ding!
The call ended.
"Are you really going?" Jinwoo asked.
"Yes."
"How can you lose him, master?" Beru complained.
'Sorry.' Jinwoo thought.
"I'll just address this problem, tell them I'm uninterested and then leave." Cale shrugged.
'I don't think it'll be that easy, seeing that they'll lose out of an unclaimed s-rank hunter.' Jinwoo unconsciously smirked.
After a few days, Cale addressed the issue in his interview.
"So, hunter Cale, what are your plans going forward as a newly awakened S-rank hunter?" The interviewer asked Cale, with a professional smile.
"I'm not planning on becoming a full-fledged hunter." Cale told them. 'I don't know when I'll get another quest related to dungeon-hunting, so it's safer to say this.'
"Huh? Why not?" The interviewers faltered. "Many citizens and hunters are intrigued about you."
"I'm not putting my life on danger just for some fame and power." Cale answered collectively.
The interviewer continued, "you only mentioned about not being full-time hunter, but what about a part-timer?"
"It depends on the occasion."
"Like what?" They pried.
The interview went on.
"Haa.." Cale sighed, exhausted. Their shooting had finally finished after a long time answering questions. 'I wanna go sleep quickly.' He thought with a blank expression.
Cale exited the building, ready to leave.
"Hunter Cale!" Someone called out his name from afar.
'Who is it..?' He never heard that voice before. Cale turned around to the sound.
A crowd of people were rushing at him like bulls at a red banner.
'What the hell?!' Cale almost froze on the spot. He quickly turned around, ready to run away. He was so focused on the crowd, he didn't see what was reaching out for him.
Slam!
Cale flinched. The next second, he found himself inside a car.
"Looks like you're in trouble again."
