Jacob's Pov-

It's been a couple of weeks since I came back home and things have been good. I've started drawing a lot more. Today Dream and George were going to adopt a new kid. I had mixed feelings about it. I was sitting on the couch drawing. Roman was here and my feet were propped up on his lap. I was currently drawing him but he didn't know. He was watching TV. I wanted my dad's home but they should be home soon. I stayed there for drawing for a while until the front door opened. Dream and George walked in with a small girl. She looked about 6. She had black curly hair and bright blue eyes.

" Jacob this is Lillie." Dream said. I smiled and nodded. George and Dream talked to Lillie for a while about things she might like for her room. They didn't ask about my day or how I felt. It upset me but I didn't show it. Roman left after a little while because Kayla missed him. He kept texting me checking on me. George started cooking and Dream was playing with Lillie. I went to my room and sat at my desk. Luna was laying on my bed with her toys. I had steps for her to get on and off my bed. I kept drawing until Dream walked in. He smiled lightly.

" What you working on?" He asked walking over. I quickly shut the book.

" Nothing," I said quietly. It was a very detailed drawing of some with their wrist cut open. I started it when I came to my room.

" Dinners ready." He said messing with my hair. I nodded and stood up. I walked into the kitchen and sat down. Lillie looked at me.

" Hi." She said quietly.

" Hi." I said bluntly. She frowned slightly. George gave us our plates. I sighed and looked at my food. Dream and George were paying attention to Lillie. George hasn't spoken to me since he got back. I waited for a while to see if he said anything which he didn't so I grabbed my plate and put it on the counter. I walked into my room and went back to drawing. There was a small knock at the door so I opened it. Lillie stood there with a smile.

" Hi." She said quietly again.

" Hi." I said. She looked upset.

" Do you not like me?" She asked suddenly.

" I don't even know you." I said bluntly.

" We could get to know each other." She said excitedly.

" Not right now. I'm busy." I said. She frowned but nodded. She walked away so I closed my door. I went back to drawing but someone knocked again. I groaned and shut my book. I opened the door.

" What?" I asked harshly. George stood there looking shocked.

" I was just wanted to know what you were doing. Lillie was upset because you won't spend time with her. She said you were busy. I just wanted to check on you." He said softly.

" I'm fine." I said quietly.

" You sure?" He asked softly. I nodded.

" I'm just drawing." I said. He nodded and smiled.

" Let me know if you need anything." He said gently. I shut my door and walked back to my desk. I sighed and began drawing once again. I stayed in my room for a while. I was watching TV when I heard a knock. I stood up and opened the door. Lillie stood there with once again a smile.

" Goodnight." She said quietly.

" Goodnight." I said plainly. She frowned again but walked away. I closed my door I shouldn't be mean to her but I just wasn't in the mood. Someone knocked but walked in this time. George and Dream stood there.

" Hey buddy." Dream said softly.

" Mmm?" I hummed.

" You okay?" He asked. I nodded.
