Chapter Twenty Eight

You could hear voices and sounds around you but you couldn't really identify who was who or what was going on. That's how it went for a long time, you kept on trying to open your eyes but it was harder than it used to be and you hated it. That was until you were finally able to open your eyes only to shut them again due to the bright lights that were placed right above you.

"Wh...*groan* wha happened? Where am I?"you slowly spoke out as you forced yourself to sit up. As soon as you were up, you took a deep breath as your eyes roamed around the room, hoping to find some familiarity. " Oh you are awake, that's good, I can run some tests while it's still early. How do you feel?"the lady in a white coat who stood by your bed asked you, you presumed she was a doctor.

" I feel horrible, it hurts but not really that much... are you my doctor?"you asked her and she nodded her head to you. She soon came up to you, checking your vitals as well as your heart rate and all that whilst noting down what she decided she would need later on. " So, you are stable, your vitals and everything and that's good for your healing and the growth of the baby..."she said, intending to finish off her sentence but you cut her off midway.

" What, I don't have a baby, I'm not pregnant..."you said to here with your eyes wide open. You thought maybe she made a mistake with her words because the last time you checked, you weren't pregnant, right? You had experienced some nausea during some mornings and now when you thought about it, you had missed your period but it couldn't be pregnancy, you were on birth control.

"Oh... this must mean that you didn't,know did you? Well we were surprised that it even survived due to how much blood you had lost and the damage that your body had been in especially around your stomach but it survived. It seemed like you were about a few weeks pregnant when you came in, I'm wondering if you didn't pay attention to the symptoms for you to not have known?"she asked you but it all just left you confused.

"In all honesty, my thoughts never came to me being pregnant, I never even thought of that in all honesty but are you sure I am?"you asked her just to make sure that she was sure about it. "Yes ma'am, I am and congratulations if nobody told you this before, it is a really strong fighter you have growing in there, guess it gets it from its mother."she told you and you let out a low chuckle as your hands slowly rose to your hold onto your tummy letting out a sigh as you realised that it had grown quite a bit but you had even noticed that.

"Well I guess I should go and let them know that you are awake, they have been eagerly waiting to come back inside after we forced them out yesterday."she said and your eyes immediately widened at her words. They... they were waiting for you to wake up? You immediately turned to stop her as your mind took a very rash decision.

"Please help me... please..."you said to her as your hand unconsciously reached out to her figure by the door only to drop down onto the bed. "Are you in danger, do you not know these people?"she asked you as she took slow steps back to you. You let out a loud sigh as you closed your eyes for a moment before you reopened them and looked at her with desperation filled in your eyes.

"I do know them but that is the problem...me knowing them puts them in danger and I don't want their lives to be at risk again...I need to sort out this mess of a life before I can even think about coming back to them so please help me out,please..."you explained to her. She let out a sigh as she looked down to you,seeming as if she were contemplating on what to do next. After a few minutes of silence,she let out a sigh as she looked down to you.

"Fine I'll help you..."she said as she cut her words to take a pause when you saw that she stil had more to say. "But..."you said to her in realisation and she hesitated to say the next thing. "You have to promise to go back to them,they really seem to care for you and I don't really condone lying to my patients but I will have to if you can do this one thing for me"she said and you immediately smiled as you nodded your head to her.

"I promise,I will!"you said to her and she smiled at you. "Now, you're going to have to act as if you forgot or you had amnesia,maybe pretend to have forgotten so some point in your past or forgotten everything but I will do some tests on you in front of them to prove to them so you just have to make it believable,okay?"she asked you and you nod to her.

She walked towards the door,opened it and spoke something before you heard rushed footsteps outside, approaching your door in a hurry. Soon all seven men were in your room, surrounding your bed as they looked at you with worry filled eyes. You tried not to look at them with awe. Instead looking at them as if you didn't know who they were and seeming as if you were scared of them.

"W-who are you people? Why am I in a hospital? Where is my father?"you asked as these questions made them shocked. Namjoon looked to the doctor for answers as she seemingly thought of what to say next. "Doctor what's going on? Why is she asking us that,she knows us."Taehyung asked,being the first of the seven to voice out his thoughts and questions if the situation.

"I'm not really sure..."the doctor said to them as she began approaching you,all of them moving to the side to make space for her. She stood by your side as she signalled for you to turn to face her. Taking a small torch out of her pocket to check your eyes and mouth,making it believable. "Do you know who you are?"she asked as soon as she placed to torch back into her pocket.

"Yes,I'm Park Mina,my father is Park Chun suk and I'm nineteen years old,I reside in America."you said out loud and she hummed at your answer. "And what year do you think this is?"she asked you. "2019 of course,"you said to her and she made a face of realisation as she turned to the men who's had just let out shocked gasps.

"I think she has suffered from amnesia,the damage she took to her head must have been the cause. She must have forgotten the past four years that have occurred but that might mean that she can still regain her memory. The memories might not be permanently gone."she said to them.

They let out sighs after her final statement. "Then how do we get them back?"Jungkook asked as hope filled his eyes. "I think the best thing would be to give her some space for now,she may come back to you if she remembers the past years,that is if she chooses to do so. All you guys need to have is patience,"she said to them as she walked towards the door and slightly bowed to them, turning to you to wink at you distinctly and closed the door.

You turned to them as they looked at you,"are you sure you don't remember us, anything at all?"hobi asked you,hoping that at least something was there. The look he gave you made you want to tell them that you remembered them and that you lied but you couldn't let yourself break when you hadn't even started working towards your goal.

"No...I don't really know any of you."you said to them.

We are about to go onto the last chapter,well the second last and soon I'll start a new story.
