CHAPTER 41: SHOCK

Aaru and Akshu sat together in the cozy corner of their living room, their heads bent close as they shared a secret that had been building inside them for weeks. A sense of excitement radiated from Aaru's sparkling eyes, and she could barely contain her enthusiasm any longer. With a sudden burst of joy, she squealed in delight and threw her arms around Akshu, who chuckled at her exuberance.

"I knew you'd be thrilled, Aaru," Akshu said, her smile widening as she returned her sister's affectionate hug.

Aaru couldn't help but feel a wave of happiness wash over her. She had always cherished the idea of becoming an aunt, and now, with Akshu's big announcement, that dream was finally coming true. The two sisters sat back, their faces glowing with anticipation.

Unable to keep this wonderful news to herself any longer, Aaru jumped up from her seat and hurriedly left the room. She was practically bouncing with excitement as she made her way to the kitchen, where her family, bade papa and mimi, was enjoying their morning tea.

Without any preamble, Aaru gleefully announced, " Mimi, you won't believe it! Akshu is pregnant!"

Her proclamation filled the room with an immediate burst of joy and jubilation. Bade papa set his tea aside and enveloped Aaru in a warm, proud hug. "That's fantastic news, my dear! We're going to be grandparents!"

Mimi, her eyes brimming with happiness, joined in the celebrations, showering both Abhinav and Akshu with her blessings. "Oh, my darlings, I couldn't be happier for you. May this new journey be filled with love and endless joy."

Bade Papa, beaming with pride, clapped Abhinav on the back and shook his hand heartily. "Congratulations, son. You're going to be a father!"

In the midst of the excitement, Aaru couldn't help but glance at her sister with a knowing smile. It had been an emotional rollercoaster ride for Akshu and Abhinav, and now they were on the verge of a new adventure. Their family, filled with laughter and happiness, came forward one by one, offering their blessings and good wishes.

Just then, as the family celebrated together, the landline phone rang. Kairav, who happened to be the closest, picked it up. It was none other than Abhi, who had called to speak with Aaru.

 However, as Kairav listened to the animated conversation in the room, he couldn't help but overhear something unexpected. His eyes widened, and in a state of shock and confusion, he blurted out, "Aaru is pregnant?"

The room fell momentarily silent, and everyone turned to look at Kairav in surprise, their expressions a mix of confusion and amusement. Aaru, realizing Kairav's misunderstanding, quickly corrected him, saying, "No, no, bhai. It's not me; it's Akshu who's pregnant!"

Kairav, still recovering from his initial shock, let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank goodness! Congratulations, Akshu!"

But Abhi had only heard the pregnancy part of Aaru. He was shocked and he felt numb, before he could ask Kairav anything , the call ended. Abhi felt and emptiness.

Mimi, who had regained her composure, stepped forward with her eyes filled with joy, and offered her heartfelt blessings once more. "May this new chapter in your life bring you immense happiness and love."

Amidst the laughter and happiness, Aaru couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment. She cherished these moments of togetherness and love within her family, her heart warmed by the knowledge that they would always be there for one another.
