𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄... someone was giving you a hard time during a social gathering. You tried to ignore it and have a good time, to not draw attention to yourself or risk ruining the entire thing. But all of this was soon tossed out the window when the aforementioned partygoer decided to insult you. With nothing else to lose, you punch them in the face and leave them crying.
Partially satisfied with yourself, the other terrified that you just did that, ran off as fast as you could and hid out on a balcony to catch your breath. Little did you know Marshall arrived just in time to see the whole thing go down; who knew you could pack such a wallop? Laughing, he joins you out on the balcony to praise you.
He may not have known everything that happened, but he does know your intentions are good, so you're justified.
