Biru-Ebere came first. She had leapt from roof to roof before hiding behind a building near Ladybug and Chat Noir. She watched them talk holding onto a bag, inside was a bunch of rulers which she'd use to create sentimonsters if needed. Something was stopping her from attempting to show herself to them. They stood about tensed waiting.

"Do you think it worked?"

"Had to. "

"But Ladybug, what if HawkMoth comes?"

"I- well.... like I said, I'll give her the letter so...I could hopefully make another ally and possible friend."

Friend.

They stood in silence.

Chat Noir turned to Ladybug, his hair drifting away in the wind. He saw her gaze towards the sky as the beacon shone brightly. It was just the two of them, Ladybug and Chat Noir. That's how it all began, but now it seemed like Ladybug had a new partner in crime-fighting every day, and Chat Noir was left behind. He looked to where Ladybug was staring and realized that she had always been on a higher level than him, even though she claimed to be his equal and partner.

He felt like he was always on the sidelines, getting hurt by villains and not having a close relationship with Master Fu when he was around. His love for Ladybug had blinded him to the double standard in their partnership. There were so many things he wanted to tell her, but he was nervous. He had never been able to stand up to his father as Adrien, so what made him think he could stand up to Ladybug? Then he paused.

He balled up his fists. He wasn't Adrien at that moment, but Chat Noir. He was going to tell Ladybug how he felt and if she cared, she'd act upon it.

Hawkmoth appeared next. He hid himself near another building near the Super Duo. He was about to leap until he heard them talk. Maybe they could expose some personal intel.

"Ladybug...?"

She turned to Chat Noir. "What?"

"....Why did you bring me here?"

"Like I said, incase things go sou-"

"Then why didn't you bring a different hero?"

"Chat Noir, we are not having this conversation right now!"

"Well, our person of the hour isn't here right now so we will."

He turned to Ladybug. His eyes completely voided. Ladybug froze completely. He closed his eyes, and gently stopped balling his fists. Beads of sweat went down his head. He was terrified. This wasn't like him. He should stop asking questions....but he didn't. He continued.

"Ever since the beginning, we have never been equal. It was never ying and yang. It was ying and an even bigger yang. But still you didn't let that affect us...until we met Master Fu. You became his star pupil; he gave you insight into our powers that I barely learned half of. He only met me after I wanted to quit. For the longest time, I've been let out the loop with everything and second to everything... Heroes' identities...powerups.... for goodness' sake I only learned about Rena's identity when she and all the other heroes got exposed by HawkMoth. And you still continue to take them away from me to detransform."

"Chat Noir I-"

"But I didn't mind...I mean I did but...I just thought it was because of Master Fu's rules...and my undying love...for-", he didn't finish that sentence. The idea of having an undying love for Ladybug was slowly becoming a myth.

"Then when you became guardian, you increased the gap between us gigantically! I thought you'd finally spill on secrets or even want us to reveal identities but NO! I'm still a pathetic side character to your ever standing hierarchy. I swear Rena knows more about the miraculous than me! I-I just want the two of us back. Fighting side by side, not fighting together when it's convenient."
