Sam and Colby were on a LIVE stream. Discussing Colby's cancer, talking about Sam's mental health, and just life in general. Sam was there to keep Colby calm as the brunette was still scared out of his shit about his cancer, and Colby had been there to make sure the blonde didn't have an attack. Elton, Amanda, Katrina, Kris, Celina, Corey, Stas, and Jake were all don't as well. Colby was glad they were here. The company made him comfortable to do the LIVE stream, anyways.
As the LIVE stream hit it's ten minute mark, Sam sat close to Colby, inertwining their cold but steady fingers together like a well fit puzzle, making the two's heart pump blood enough to rush up and burn a kiss into their cheeks.
Sam had always felt something more for his best friend. But he just couldn't tell him. And when he would build up enough courage to, there was never a good time to, and he wasnt going to risk what they already had, either.
As ten more minutes passed smoothly, they expressed emotions and responded to the comments in the chat, noticing a certain comment that stood out to them:
"Why are Sam and Colby holding hands?"
The rest if the group immediately turned their curious heads around to the two boys who had yanked their hands back. 'Shit' Sam thought to him self. Sam wasn't really a touchy person when it came to Colby. Sure, he would pose fakely to the fans, clinging to Colby for the video, but off camera, he almost avoided affection. Colby on the other hand didn't seen to mind the hand holding as much. They had been best friends since they were fourteen, practically eight years, and he didn't see anything wrong with it. Everyone, including Colby, watched as Sam just sat there looking at his shoes as blood rushed to the tips of his ears.
"You alright, Sam?" Colby questioned, smiling as he knew he had Sam trapped in embarrassment. He looked at him with a blank expression, hiding the smile that unconsciously tugged at the corners of his )mouth. Sam lifted his platinum blonde head up, staring off into the distance of the on going LIVE.
"Yeah, I- I'm fine. Can someone just like, pause the live or something?" Sam asked quietly as his cheeks and nose grew crimson, resting his chin on his arms as he let his legs fall to the ground.
"Wait you can do that? So you're telling me my fans actually heard me take a shit? I though-" Corey said cutting himself off. He looked ridiculous trying to figure it out himself, playing with the drawstring of his hoodie.
Colby rolled his eye as he got up to pause the live, when Stas quickly started laughing at something she saw on her phone. "What?" Colby said grinning, noticeably distracted by her laugh. Ignoring the LIVE, Colby sat shoulder to shoulder with Stas and looked down at her phone. Sam could tell Colby had liked her since they've met, but that feeling grew and grew as time flew by. He couldn't care less about Stas. She just always seemed annoying to him. And she always took advantage of Colby's fam. Sam felt she used Colby for money, though Colby would voluntarily throw it at her. Ridiculous.
Sam just threw his head back, annoyed Colby wasn't paying attention to him. He was more annoyed at the fact he didn't even look at Sam when he completely backed out of pausing the live. Though Sam couldn't complain. Stas was way more distracting than him, and was far more Colby's type of person. He'd just wish that Colby doesn't see more in her than himself.
"Colby, a-are you going to pause the, the live?" Sam said with irritation in his voice. He started to bounce his leg up and down as Colby puts his index finger up as a way to shut him up, not even looking up from his phone.
'I'll just do it myself then, you prick.' Sam thought to himself. He was pissed. How could he choose that bimbo over him? He was his best friend for years and years. And now that he has turned 24, he has been wrapped around Stas's finger like a ring that could only come off with butter. And Sam, in this situation, was the butter. Sam got up from the couch, about to pause the live, when he suddenly felt a warm grasp hand on his wrist that hauled him back down into the couch cushion. It was Colby.
