I stumbled back. Wow. I saw him. I couldn't believe it. I...

I let my hands fall limply to my side. I was unable to move, to do anything but just stare in awe. It was just-

"Naomi?" I heard Luce say, tearing me from my thoughts. I turned around to see her standing there with a broom in her hands. I was going to say something but I couldn't bring myself to. "Was someone here? I thought I heard something." She said. I shook my head. She looked at me weirdly and then averted her gaze. With a small nod, she walked away.

I let out a breath and shut my eyes. I could still feel his lingering on me. I didn't understand what was happening. First, I was mad, practically filled with rage, then I was feeling the sense of longing and after that, I felt like I was about to lose everything. The weirdest part is now I just want him back. I lifted my eyelids and looked around.

I thought about the way he was in front of me and the next second, he was gone. How could he move so fast? There has to be some explanation. I have never met someone like him before in my life. That's just not right.

I still wanted to know who he was. No, actually, I really just wanted to know what he was. There was something about him, something I couldn't quite get. I never ever in life felt the way he made me feel.

I couldn't tell anybody, no one would believe me. I needed answers. Maybe I should check in the library.

I opened the door slowly when I realized something was different. It was the exact same feeling I got when he was around. He was here. I knew it but at the same time I wasn't quite sure. I looked around before I realized it was useless. The mysterious man was gone.

I turned around just as the library door slammed shut. Oh shit. That scared me. I could feel my heartbeat pace quicken.

"Hello?" I called out. No answer. Maybe it was just my nerves on edge because of my encounter with him. The wind or maybe someone walking upstairs was walking weirdly, causing the door to slam shut. I calmed down my heartbeat and cracked my neck.

I shook the hair out of my face and started searching for information. To be honest, I had no idea what I was searching for, therefore causing my search to come to a dead end the minute it started.

All of a sudden, I felt a gaze on my back. I swirled around as fast as I could but no one was there. I took a deep breath. Calm down, Naomi. But like on queue, my heart began to pace real fast again. A pace I was now familiar with. I was right.

"Hello?" I tried again. Like before, I got no answer but this time, I didn't drop it. "I... I know you're here!" I yelled. I balled my hands into fists at my side.

I walked through the library and searched for him. I tried to use my nose but I couldn't smell anything. Not even the smell of the books. God, this was way too confusing. Why weren't my abilities working? I looked through aisle after aisle but nothing.

I stopped in the middle of the 10 aisle I searched through. This was getting tiring. I wanted to give up but I knew he was still here. I just... I couldn't sense him.

Then, a breeze flew past me, leaving a smell of forest but a hint of the ocean. He was playing with me. Dammit, why the hell would he do that. I just wanted him to go. But at the same time, that was the last thing I wanted. I didn't know what I wanted.

"I know you're here." I repeated. I closed my eyes, trying to find away to get to him. For some reason, my senses were blocked and i needed to unblock them.
