Yoongi rushed out of his room, late for practice after oversleeping due to exhaustion. He quickly threw on the first clothes he found and headed to the living room. There, Jungkook calmly ate breakfast, Startled, Jungkook glanced up from his meal, a spoon halfway to his mouth, watching Suga's hurried morning routine.
"Why is he hurrying? Classes won't start for like two hours," Jungkook mumbled to himself. but Before Jungkook could say anything, Yoongi headed out the door. Jungkook noticed that Suga hadn't had breakfast and continued to eat his own.
"Yoongi, it's okay if you're late. You didn't need to run from the dorm to the basketball court," Taehyung said, noticing Yoongi panting heavily after his run.
"You had your breakfast, right?" Taehyung asked, and Yoongi simply nodded. Although he hadn't actually had his breakfast yet, he planned to eat something later.
"ok, so let's start the practice."
Yoongi was engrossed in his practice when Jin entered the basketball court.
"Suga," Jin called out, and both Yoongi and Taehyung stopped. Jin approached them.
"What are you doing here so early?" Jin asked Yoongi.
"Hyung, we're practicing," Taehyung replied, but Jin's eyes remained fixed on Yoongi.
"Suga, you seemed tired yesterday. You shouldn't push yourself this hard; you're already good," Jin advised him.
"Hyung, I'm not tired. I'm just doing it because I like it," Yoongi replied, despite his current state clearly indicating otherwise with a hint of exhaustion.
"Did you have your breakfast?" Jin asked, and Yoongi simply nodded his head. However, Jin wasn't entirely convinced.
"I haven't had mine yet. Will you have breakfast with me? After all that practice, I'm sure you need to fuel up," Jin suggested. and yoongi just looked at taehyung who nodded his head
"Sure, Hyung, we'll eat with you," Taehyung responded, but Jin wished for some time alone with Suga.
"Taehyung, if you don't mind, could you go help the coach? He needs someone," Jin requested.
"I'll treat you to lunch," Jin quickly added, and Taehyung glanced at Yoongi before nodding in agreement to Jin's request.
"Thank you, Taehyung. Let's go, Suga," Jin said, and both left for the canteen. Although Yoongi felt a little uneasy—this was the first time he was roaming around the college pretending to be Suga without Taehyung. What if someone caught him? Taehyung wasn't around to act as a buffer.
After reaching the table, Jin placed orders for both of them. He then looked at Suga, who was oddly just sitting there, smiling at him. This wasn't how he remembered Suga from last year.
