Grace walks into her apartment and finds her sister Hannah sitting on the couch watching TV. Grace shuts the door and hangs up her jacket before going into the living room to join her sister.
"How was your day?" Hannah asked as Grace plopped down on the couch and let a groan as she got comfortable on the couch.
"I'm a waitress, you tell me how you think it went," Grace replied as she untied her shoes, then took them off followed by taking off her socks.
"I take it, it didn't go so well."
Grace doesn't respond as she hops off the couch and goes into the kitchen, she returns a moment later with a bottle of wine and glass and takes her seat back on the couch.
"I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you had a bad day," Hannah said to herself more than she did to her sister.
"Want some?" That was all Grace said to her sister's comment. Hannah shook her head and Grace set the wine bottle on the table in front of them and held her glass before taking a sip.
After that, it was silent for several minutes before Hannah decided to break the silence.
"Are you going to tell me what happened today? Or am I going to have to guess?"
Grace sighed and took a sip of wine before responding, "It wasn't nothing to do with me, and in a way it was."
"What happened?"
"I met this crazy bitch that told me the craziest thing I've heard."
Hannah wondered what that could be, but before she could ask, Grace said, "She told me she was an angel."
Hannah was going to bust out laughing, but the last time she did that, which was in church, her grandma slapped her onto the floor and she was picking herself up off the floor.
"Why do you think that's crazy?" Hannah asked. "Grandma believed in angels and went to church every Sunday, so the woman could be telling you the truth."
Grace didn't think so however, she smokes, drinks, and cusses like the devil, so why would an angel want anything to do with her? She didn't know or care, besides the woman could be trying to pull a prank on her, but Hannah didn't think so.
"Did she tell you her name?"
Grace shook her, "No, but she sure was pretty."
"See, Grandma said that angels were beautiful."
Grace was starting to believe that Hannah had gotten ahold of something while she was gone and it was starting to affect her mind or maybe it was the ghost of their grandma speaking to her through Hannah, either way, Grace didn't like it and was beginning to bother her. She had never really gotten over the death of her grandma and at the time Grace was a Christian and went to church every Sunday faithfully until her grandma passed away then she became bitter and blamed God for taking her grandma and vowed never to go to church again and worship the lord. And she has struck to that ever since.
Grace downed the rest of the wine in her glass and got up from the couch, "I'm going to bed. Make sure you turn the TV and lights off before you go to bed."
"Yes mother," Hannah said being sarcastic while at the same time trying to make Grace. It worked because Grace smiled at her before going to her room.

Westwood Baptist ChurchJohan and his werewolf friend Paul were getting ready to have dinner when a shotgun blast slammed into the wall spraying them with dust and wood splitters.
"What the hell was that? Johan asked as he turned around to come face to face with his former partner Hailey Bishop who was carrying a Mossberg in her right hand.
"Didn't anyone tell you that you shouldn't cuss in the lord's house?" Hailey asked holding the shotgun at her side. She knew she couldn't harm Johan and his friend in a house of worship and they couldn't harm her either, so it made the playing field even.
"What do you want, Hailey?" Johan asked in an irritated tone. He rather be eating right now instead he's having a deal with Hailey's bull and that just made him mad.
"I'm here for Michelle's killer and I think you know who took her out," Hailey explained, but judging by the look on Johan's face, the news of Michelle's death was a shock to him.
"Why would someone want Michelle dead?" Johan asked.
"That's why I'm here and if find out that you had anything to do with it, you are stepping off the holy ground and settling things between each other." And without saying another word, Hailey walked away and exited the church.
"What should we do?" Paul asked. "We haven't done anything, but because we're werewolves and she's an angel that gives her just cause to take us out."
"Will be fine as long as we stay here in the church. In the meantime, you go have a chat with Lucifer and his daughter and see if they know anything about an angel getting whacked."
"What are you going to do?" Paul asked Johan.
"Wait for you here."
