The Demon on his shoulder🪽🐍

Good Omens🐍🩵🪽

very short little fanfic about a drawing I did :0‼️
(The cover is the drawing<3)
- (Crowley is gender-fluid (she/they/he)
- (Aziraphale used he/him, they're just crushing on each other rn, so my AU(?) i guess)
- (this is set like a day or 2 after dining at the ritz ((season 1)) )

The Bentley's slowly came to a stop infront of the coffee shop. Crowley turns off the car. Releasing her foot from the break. Pausing for a moment. She leans deeper into the seat and releasing a short sigh. Almost falling asleep. She turned her head to the passenger seat beside her. A big bottle of red wine sit there waiting to be drinken. Another sigh exits the demon swinging her arm down twards the bottle. Grabbing it and exiting the Bentley. Slamming the door closed. A small click of glasses makes Crowley look up face infront of her. Nina stands there, giving out her usual coffee. "Afternoon." Nina says in a friendly tone. Crowley nods doing a quick salute. Turning around and walking twards the front of the bookshop. Passing pedestrians and skirting past cars.  Stepping back onto the sidewalk and up the stairs to the bookshop. Grabbing the handle and turning it quickly to enter. They step inside to a quiet & calm bookshop. Crowley immediately feels at ease and walks over to Aziraphale's desk area. "Angel!!" Crowley howled while walking over to the desk. Pulling the chair out and putting the bottle overtop of a book. He stands there waiting for a response, but nothing replies. She shouts again more urgently "Aziraphale?! Where the blasts are you? I brought the wine!!" with an impatient tone ripping off her glasses and putting them on the desk beside the piles of books and notes. Rumbling foot steps come downstairs, "Sorry dear!!" A higher voice echo'd from the stairwell. Crow immediately feeling more at ease knowing he's alright. "Why didn't you answer me the first time you bastard!" Crowley said half jokingly. Aziraphale apologized again while walking down the rest of the stairwell. "Apologies my dear, I was making us a bit of a snack.." he said while walking into his desk area with a tray full of crackers, cheese, & ham. Crowley's mouth curled upwards. *adorable* they thought. "W-well.." she says realizing what her brain had thought. "I brought the wine!" Crowley said once more while grabbing the bottle from the neck and holding it infront of him, embarrassingly. "Wonderful dear!" Aziraphale said excitedly. The angel using his foot, moved the chair further back from the desk putting his tray on the desk. Picking up a cracker, and putting a little square of cheese on top. "Would you like one?" Aziraphale said while making it. Putting it on his hand in Crows direction. "No, I'm good Angel. Thanks." Crow responded while grabbing the glasses off of the shelf. While pouring him and Aziraphale a gracious amout of wine. Aziraphale finished his cracker while Crow grabs it by the neck and reaches it twards Aziraphale. "Your wine?" The demon says in a tempting and seducing manner while holding out the wine. The angel giggles while covering his mouth from the food. He swallows it and puts his hand back down. "Thank you, my darling demon." Crowley's heart skipped a beat. His pointed ears flicked and the tips turned a light pink. He handed the wine to Aziraphale grabbing the rest of the bottle then turning quickly to the couch and sitting down in it slumped in his usual moody position. Aziraphale walked around to the back of the chair forcing it forwards and sitting down in it with his legs crossed and comfortable. They sat in silence for a while before Aziraphale spoke. "How are the plants doing?" He said while piercing his lips over his wine-glass and taking a sip. "You would not believe how annoying they're being!! I went garden shopping last week and bought a wonderful little Yucca plant! And it already had a spot!" Crow continued to ramble on and on about her plants. Aziraphale listened intently while periodically sipping on his drink and eating snacks. Between statements Crowley would chug down a bit of the wine from the bottle. Later on, somehow Crow had unbuttoned the top 3 buttons off his black silk shirt. And layed somehow even more sprawled out than before. Aziraphale cut back to reality realizing Crowley had her head in her hands. He stood up and walk over to the couch to better comfort her. Aziraphale looked at Crowley. Without responding she swigged the last remaining drops of wine. A groan of disappointment exited the demon. "Being an Angel was so much easier.." Crow said while putting the empty bottle on the ground making it fall over and roll under the chair. Aziraphale now feeling disgusted with himself for not actually listening to crow's concerns wrapped an arm around Crow's shoulder. "Why so glum my dear?" he calmly asked while rubbing the demon's shoulder. The stars were beginning to glow through the window while the streets slowed down Nina began to close up shop across the street.  "have.. have you ever been afraid of me, Angel..?" She said releasing her hands from her temples and making eye contact with Aziraphale. Aziraphale was taken aback from this statement. He thought for a second and then replied. "To be quite frank.." the angel began breaking the eye contact to play with his fingers. "I was quite scared of you during Eden. But only reason I was afraid was because of what I had been told about demons.." a long awkward pause before continuing  "but yet, there you were. A demon. Making conversation with me. I felt safe. And from that day on, I had never feared you." Aziraphale smiled. "I thought you were gone when the bookshop went up." Crowley said ruining the good moment. Azra's smile melted into a frown. "I'm sorry, my dear." a soft smile perched on Aziraphale's cheek trying to comfort Crowley. It wasn't working. Aziraphale's eyes locked to a tear going down Crow's face. "O-oh! I'm so sorry my dear!!" An angel's tear. A tear of holy water. Burning up Crowley's skin almost instantly. Aziraphale said while standing up and stepping back from Crowley. "I didn't mean to make you upset!" *stupid angel stupid* he thought to himself while smacking his forhead. "I'll go get some bandages!" Aziraphale quickly muttered before he went to walk away. Then feeling a tight grip on his wrist.  "WAIT-" Crowley shouted. Both of them now standing holding onto his wrist. "I'm fine. I promise.." She moves her hand down to his palm making their hands connect to each others. "I'm sorry. I didn't meant to spring that onto you." Crowley said in a hushed voice. Aziraphale stepped back and turned back to Crowley. "Are you alright though, my love?" Crowley sighed and smiled. "Yes, Angel. I promise.."  they made eye contact. The golden, honey colored eyes reflect off of Aziraphale's reading glasses. Crowley stared at Aziraphale's clear sky blue eyes with his star shaped pupils with glimmering distant stars. Aziraphale's eyes wondered the demon's face. Her crying eyes stopped but the scars continued to form. He looked down at her soft lips. Then back up at her eyes. As did Crowley. Aziraphale cleared his throat. She released his hand. Both blushing intently. "Since you,, told me about your plants.." Aziraphale began. "Can I read you a new book I got today..?" Crowley nodded while her face turned even more red making her ears a dark cherry. Aziraphale hurried off before Crowley could tell his face was slowly turning burning red. Once Aziraphale was out of the room, Crowley began smacking his forhead. *you stupid fucking demon* he thought while turning around and looking upwards and rubbing her eyes. She looked back down and sat. Looking around the bookshop again. Each book organized by author. Though all the walls were bookshelves, a lot of the books were on the floor and stacked almost halfway up the stairs. Crowley continued to sit while waiting for Aziraphale. Her eyes drooping and almost falling asleep multiple times. After awhile the angel came back very excitedly. Crowley looked up as she heard his shoes clip & clomp on the floor. Crowley recognized that Aziraphale had changed outfits. *so that's what took him so long.* the demon thought. He was in his regular sweater, jacket and bow but now had changed out of his sweater and bow tie into just the light blue collared shirt underneath. Aziraphale sat back down and fixed his glasses. He looked at Crowley seeing her eyes continue to droop. "Would you like for me to read it to you, my dear?" Crowley did not look at Aziraphale and simply allowed her eyes to drift off to sleep. Making her neck drop off the wood detailing of the couch. Aziraphale smiled then he sat down. And opened up "The Burnt Skies" and began reading. He read it out loud annunciating certain words, doing diffrent voices and making the book just a bit more entertaining. Crowley watched as Aziraphale acted out the book. Her head resting along the top of the couch. The angel looked over to the demon. He sighs. "You're going to hurt your neck my dear." Crowley groaned. "I-I'll be fineeee" she dragged out the words drunkingly. Swinging her head upward and lowering it onto Aziraphale's shoulder. "Thisssssssss bettah..?" Crowley's snake like instinct kicked in dragging out words. Aziraphale laughed while blushing immensely.  Aziraphale stopped laughing. He stares at Crowley for awhile then reaches for Crowley's bangs. He grabs them and fiddles with it. *her hair is so soft..* Aziraphale thought to himself. Crowley began leaning in closer into Aziraphale. Crowley liked it when Aziraphale played with her hair. It didn't happen much. But it was always wonderful. Aziraphale rolled up his sleeves miracling up a hair tie while tying up her bangs. "Are you trying to hide these, Crow?" Referencing to Crowley's eyes. "I guessssssssss, not the thing I really want to be displaying, heh..?" Slurring her words together once again with a little giggle after words. Keeping her eyes closed and continuing to lean her  neck weight on Aziraphale. He sighed, finishing tying up his hair. "just know.. I love your golden eyes my dear." Aziraphale said looking down at Crowley's hand beside his and begins rubbing it with his pinkie finger. Crowley smiled and her eyes slowly opened, not all the way but just enough to see. Crowley grabs Aziraphale's full hand intertwining their fingers together holding it tightly. While both of their faces turn a bright scarlett, their red ears beginning to fold down like a scared cat.
Eventually Crowley fell asleep. Aziraphale stayed awake all night, reading his book and drinking miracle coffees & teas. Aziraphale was on chapter 26 when we had realized he was talking to himself when Crowley let out a large snore. He laughed. Turning his head to look at the sleeping demon. He leans over and kisses his cheek. *i love you my dear.* Then breaks his lips free looking at their hands still intertwined almost 2hrs afterwards. Lifting it up. And kissing it too. Putting it back inbetween them and continuing to read as the distant sun rose for the morning day.
