Chapter 5
Tour Life
*July 25*
Today is the first day of Austin's summer tour. He is performing in San Antonio. He's super excited to be performing for his hometown because all of his family and friends will be out for his first show. Today is also the day that I get to see Rylie and Logan again. Logan always loves when I came over with Austin. I always helped rylie with cheerleading, too. I've missed them so much. We are going to head to the arena around 9:45 so we can have time to pick up Rylie and Logan, and to get set up and practice a little more before soundcheck started.
*10:00am*
We are now at the arena, and Austin is practicing. I am sitting with Rylie and Logan In their seats. Austin says he wants to practice U one time with me as the U girl. So, just playing around I did it. To be honest, it was actually fun. As soon as Austin finished practicing we went to his dressing room. I sat with AC, Rob, And Zach on the couch waiting for Austin to change clothes for Soundcheck and Meet and Greets. That took about 20 minutes.
*3:00*
It was now time for soundcheck. Austin waited until the crowd filled up, and then he walked on stage. He sang a few songs, and he joked around with AC a little. Then, he started question and answer.
"Are there any questions for me today?" Austin asked the fans
A bunch of screaming girls raise their hands.
"How about you? Right there, in the pink!" Austin said pointing at the girl.
"Can I see Reagan if she's here?" The girl said sweetly
"Of course you can sweetie.. Let me go get her."
Austin came backstage and told me a fan wanted to see me. I walked out there, and I asked who was it that wanted to see me?
"Who wanted to see me?" I asked
"I Did!!" A cute fan replied back to me. "Can I come up there to give you a hug?"
I looked at Austin, and he looked at Joe. Joe shook his head.
"Sorry sweetie, you can't come up here, but I can come down there to see you."
"Okay!!" She said with the biggest smile on her face
I always loved meeting fans and seeing their faces when they met one of us. It always made my heart feel warm. ☺️ It was now time for the Meet and Greet. I walked out with Austin, and the line was amazing at the gate. I couldn't believe how many fans were over there. I stood with Joe and watched all the mahomies have their dream come true. I watched them all smile, cry tears of joy, and walk away so happy.
*8:55pm*
"Austin.. You're on in five." The stage manager said
Austin looked at me and said, "holy crap.. I'm nervous."
"You'll do fine. I believe in you." I reassured him
I gave him a huge hug, and I kissed his cheek. He ran out on stage, and all you could hear was the crowd roaring. I was so incredibly proud of him. He's accomplished so much. He is now on his first headlining tour. I can't wait to start the "tour life"!!
