Chapter 8

Chloe's pov
I was surprised that I was still a part of Brooke's wedding especially beacause Brooke took Paige's side she wasn't mutual like Mackenzie. I ignored it though I was in one of my best friends weddings. Today we were going shopping for dresses.
"Hi may I help you?" The consultant asked
"Yes we're looking for bridesmaid dresses in red." Brooke said
"Long or short?" The consultant asked
"Short. Also I want something a little different on my maid of honors dress." Brooke said
"Alright you may go select some dresses and get started."

Paige's pov
After the overly perky consultant asked us a bunch of stupid questions and then we tried on dresses. They asked me Maddie and Chloe to model. Take that Kendall I guess you don't always get what you want. I tried on this really pretty red dress Brooke would love. We all walked out.
"So what does every one think of the dresses?" The consultant asks
"Well" Brooke started but was interrupted by Kendall
"I think Paige's is disgusting but Chloe's is nice." Kendall said
I looked at Chloe's dress it had ruffles and a ginormous bow on her right shoulder.
"Really I picked this as a joke." Chloe said
"I really love Paige's it's simple and elegant and beautiful." Brooke said
"Great so is this the dress?" The consultant asked
"Yes." Brooke said
"Ok now for the special touch for your maid of honor we could do a black sash around the waist." The consultant said
"Yeah I love that." Brooke said

Brooke's pov
After we picked out a bridesmaid dress we went for lunch which was awkward. Paige had a smirk on her face and was glaring at Kendall.
"Look guys I know you're mad at each other but you guys are best friends nothing can change that not even seven years apart." Clara said
"But that's the thing it did Clara. We're different people and we're at different places in our lives. We don't connect anymore." Paige said
"Yeah but we can live with it we always had a special bond and once you have something like that it doesn't just disappear." Mackenzie said
"Alright well I'm sick of this ill see you guys later." Kendall said and left.
"Thank goodness she's gone." Paige said
"Paige why do you have to be so rude about this. The photo shoot is over and done with who cares at this point what happens." Nia said
"I care because a real friend wouldn't do that to me. It shows that the seven years we were apart did affect us and it affected us in a negative way." Paige said
"Well Paige if you got a job offer you know that you would take it." Chloe said.
"I wouldn't take it from one of my friends even if it was my dream job. If one of you guys got it I would let you have it." Paige said she stomped away like a five year old and left.
Why must this happen so close to my wedding? Why can't we all just be friends and be happy like we were when we were younger? I need help and I know someone who can help me. This is going to be difficult but she's my only hope.
