"Ugh. You got blood on my dick."

"Shut up, you don't have a dick."

"My metaphorical dick, then. You're so nitpicky."

Dokja rolled his eyes in the midst of carving up the bloody corpse he dragged to Sooyoung's feet.

"Why are you doing it so close to me?" Sooyoung cringed.

"You wanted to get in on the action, didn't you?" he grinned. "Start taking those notes."

Shooting him a glare, she pulled out her smartphone and began typing away without protest.

"What happened to your notebook?" Dokja asked casually, glancing briefly at her. "You always use that thing."

Sooyoung paused. "If someone hadn't fucked up and gotten carried away last time, I'd still be using it," she frowned. "Blood splattered all over it, and now I can't get the stains or the smell out!"

Dokja snickered. "Aw, that's too bad."

Silence settled between them, with the sounds of flesh being sliced the only thing to fill the void.

Sooyoung took in the macabre sight before her eyes and greedily absorbed her source of literary inspiration. She felt entranced as her eyes raked over Dokja's actions, his movements full of purpose and precision.

"When does this all end?" she wondered. She felt her heart constrict and become heavy as her mind crossed the thought. "It's got to end at some point. I can't keep doing this to him," she thought guiltily. "Wait, but this isn't all my fault. He agreed to this," she argued with herself.

As though able to sense her inner conflict, Dokja interrupted her thoughts.

"What's on your mind?" he inquired, wiping the blood splatter on his cheek.

Sooyoung stared at him. The word "sexy" popped up in her head as she watched him wipe his face clean of the scene's evidence. It wasn't fair. Why was she the only one suffering like this?

"Am I down bad?" she frowned.

He looked at her weirdly and waved his hand in front of her face. "Earth to Sooyoun–"

"You're ugly," she blurted.

Dokja gaped. "What the hell?"

You. It's you.

"You asked, didn't you?" Sooyoung smugly answered.

"Of course," he deadpanned, "my mistake."

As he busied himself once more, Sooyoung watched as he carefully packed and stored the victim's still intact organs in a cooler.

She became curious. "Hey, where did you–"

Before she got to finish her sentence, distant police sirens tore through the air.

Dokja and Sooyoung froze.

"They're not coming here, right?" Sooyoung asked nervously.

"Definitely not," Dokja solemnly agreed. "Seoul's a big place, after all."

Moments later, the sirens gradually grew louder, blaring, as if it were advancing towards the abandoned neighborhood they were situated in.

"Fuck!" she exclaimed.

Without missing a beat, Dokja hurriedly swept through the scene and gathered their materials. He strapped himself with his messenger bag before snatching the cooler from the tiled bathroom floor and grabbing Sooyoung's hand to flee. At least, tried to.

As Sooyoung halted, he turned to her in a vexed manner. "What are you doing?? We have to go now."

"What are we going to do about the body?? They're going to find it!" she panicked.

"We didn't leave any traces, so it's fine. It would've been better if we had a bit more time, though," he gazed at the body wistfully.

Dokja observed Sooyoung as she battled with her conscience. It wasn't a long battle, he noted.

"Urgh, fine, let's just go!"

She grabbed his hand to flee, but not before kicking the mutilated corpse's crotch.

"That was for junior!" she scowled at the unresponsive figure.

Practically flying down the stairs, they ran through the emergency exit and down the back alley where their getaway car was waiting.

Then, Dokja suddenly laughed. ""That was for junior"? Really?"

"What?" Sooyoung defended, "It was just the crotch. He'll live– oh wait."

Laughs, cackles, and the constant pattering of running feet littered the air as the sun began to set on a humid summer evening.

Just another day in Seoul.

A/N: Honestly, I don't know if Seoul has abandoned neighborhoods that have emergency exits or back alleys. Actually, forget that; I'm clueless about Seoul in general. Apologies if there are mistakes in my writing!
