I'm brushing my teeth when Wendy walks into the bathroom. She just hugs me and yawns. I rinse my mouth and hands her toothbrush. After grooming ourselves, we head to the kitchen. My girl stays quiet before opening her arms to me. I lift her onto the counter and I slide my arms around her waist.
"Did you sleep well ?"
"Yes. It was amazing. You ?"
"It was nice. I'm not used to such a comfortable bed tho."
She smiles, "Welcome home Randy."
"Thank you love."
I put kisses on my girl's lips as she strokes my back with her long nails. I've been thinking of kissing her so many times, so many nights. I'm happy to finally be able to do so.
"What are you plans for today ?"
"Netflix and chill."
"Aight what about we skip to the chill part ?" I joke.
"Randy !" She hits my arm playfully. "We actually have a lot of movies and shows to catch up."
"I know that. But I need to eat sum first, I'm starving."
I grab two bowls, some cereal and a bottle of milk. I put them on the coffee table then I carry my lil princess up to the sofa. We take the large grey blanket and cover ourselves. It's definitely getting cold here.
Wendy grabs the remote and procede to open Netflix. She gives me her phone.
"So... Since I don't know what you'd want to watch, I made a list."
I scroll on the movies listed.
"What about the American Nightmare movies ?" I suggest. "That will keep us busy the whole day."
"Fine. That's a good choice."
"I got great taste."
She rolls her eyes.
"Nah. That's my list babe."
"That's my list babe." I mock her.
She just pouts and crosses her arms. Man I love that girl. She's so cute effortless.
I kiss her neck a few times but she moves back.
"Don't do that bruv. It ain't funny."
I burst out laughing. You know them british people when they get mad ? Their accent gets thicker.
"Say that again pleaseeeee."
"No..." She stries not to smile. "I won't ever speak again."
"Maaaaaaan..." I pull her closer to me. "I love you so much."
We make ourselves comfortable before taking our cereal.

As we're watching the movie, my phone rings.
"Take it, I gotta pee anyway." Wendy kisses me.
I wait for her to close the door to pick up.
"Ayo Dee it's Chris."
"Wassup man you good ?"
"Yeah bro where you at ? You got out and shit but nobody seen you in the hood what's to it ?"
"Nah bro I'm over this shit now, I'm just tryna get some paper and stay outta jail you feel me."
"Aight man you know I can only agree to that. Me and the homies been expecting you here tho."
"I left the state."
"Straight up ? With who ?"
"Just me and my bitch you know, tryna chill a lil bit."
