The looming specter of lies is what terrifies me the most.

How individuals can be so dreadfully cruel, concealing their true selves with secrets and weaving deceptive tales in a desperate attempt to shield their real nature.

It's perplexing to contemplate how individuals with diverse backgrounds and life experiences find the strength to perpetuate falsehoods, denying those with genuine intentions the truth.

Why is it so challenging for them to be straightforward and honest about matters that could shatter a person?

To face a betrayal head-on seems almost a preferable fate, for being betrayed behind one's back is immeasurably more heart-wrenching.

The harsh reality of not identifying the perpetrator leaves an unsettling void in our final moments, as life drains from our bodies.

In our last, soulful moments before demise, the mystery of our assailant remains unresolved, and the uncertainty of whether it's someone familiar or a stranger lingers unanswered.

It's not about murder; it's about the pain of betrayal.
