JJ & Florence
We all arrived at the venue about 20 minutes before the actual thing started. I sighed as me, Jade, Divine, and Ja'Marr entered the venue. We were all stopped by the bouncer who was standing right next to the other entrance.
"Names please?" The Bouncer asked. "Divine Hope O'Connell," Divine said. "Oh, you Kevin O'Connell's Daughter, and this is your group?" He questioned. "Yep," "Well, right this way ma'am," He said, opening up the door for us.
I looked around the place. Damn, it was beautiful. You could see Downtown with all the lights on it was really pretty. I was walking around as my heels clicked loudly against the marble floor.
As I sat down at the bar I found I heard my name said from a familiar voice. "Desiree?" I quickly turned around to see it was Coach O'Connell. "Hey Kevin," I say with a wide smile on my face.
"Have you seen my daughter?" He asked me. "No, I haven't I think she's with Jade and Ja'Marr," I say. He sighed. "Well, thanks anyway let me know if you have found her," He said, walking away.
My stomach began to flip as I thought of the sight of JJ and Florence. But really there was no point in thinking about them it really was a complete waste of time. I just sat around the bar for about 10 minutes before people started to come to the venue.
I almost forgot that I had to greet people around the place. I got up and started greeting people who came past the bar as soon as I started to greet people guess who I spotted?
JJ and his whore of a girlfriend. I noticed outta the corner of my eye I saw JJ stare at me for a good 15 seconds before he sat down. I rolled my eyes and tried to avoid contact with him and the 'whore.'
"Hey Dessi," Florence broke the silence. I sighed before I spoke. "Hey," I say. They ordered some drinks as I still was sitting there looking at my phone. "Hey, Baby I'mma find some seats before it gets too crowded" I heard JJ say before getting up.
"Now, can I get you anything?" The Bartender asked me. "Yeah, Martini," I say. She smiled back at me. "Hey Dessi come here," Florence said. I sighed and scooted over a chair to sit next to her.
"What?" I retorted with sass. "I don't know what you think but stay away from me and JJ." She said in a bitchy tone. I looked at her. "I have no intention to ruin your perfect relationship with JJ" I retorted back.
She rolled her eyes. "Sure you don't I saw your stunt yesterday. Showing off to JJ." She said. "Look bitch, I had no intentions to do anything that," I say, getting up from the bar, looking for Jade and the rest of them.
After a good 10 minutes looking for them, I found them. I walked over to them and sat down."Girl what took you so long," Jade asked all sassy. " I got myself caught up talking to Florence herself" I admitted. They both looked at me with horror on their faces. "Nigga what did she say to you," Jade asked. "She just threatened me if I don't leave JJ alone and don't talk to him at all" I explained. "Bitch, anything she says mean shit," Divine said. I laughed. "Well, that is facts there Divine" I happily admitted. Divine laughed "I guess I just say facts then"
