Today was week 3 of the season. I was very hyped for that. Since yesterday I have been so hyped that I couldn't wait to actually cheer on the team today. Today we were going against the Chargers.
I'm actually glad that I was being trained to be able to stick my landings and being JJ's girlfriend. Me, Jade, and Divine were sitting on the sidelines currently warming up for the game.
We came early since we wanted to beat the crowd since games do get crowded very fast. I was wondering if this was the right time to tell the girls about me and JJ.
"Guys, I got news for you two," I admitted randomly as I smiled and flashed them a happy smile. Jade and Divine turned towards me as they sat next to me.
"oooo," Jade said
"What is it?" Divine asked curiously asked me. I smiled again and they smiled back
"Me and JJ are officially dating" I whispered, not wanting the whole stadium to hear me. Jade and Divine screamed in excitement.
I smiled again. "Finally girl it was about time!" Divine yelled out with a big smile on her face. Both Jade and I laughed at her reaction.
"Wait, How did he ask you?" Jade asked curiously asked me cause she wanted the details. I smiled and looked at her before answering her question.
"Well, we were sitting in the car, he kissed me then he asked me as his girlfriend to Theria's wedding," I explained looking at my best friends.
They smiled at me "That is so sweet Dessi," Divine stated happily. I nodded in agreement before saying anything.
"Yeah, it truly was," I stated with a smile as I remembered the moment he asked me.
I was truly happy that me and JJ were finally together but a part of me thought this was so good to be true for me to experience this. But at the same time, I didn't want the negative and depressing part of me ruining my happy moments with JJ.
"Wait are we going shopping for new dresses for the wedding?" Jade asked randomly. I faced her. "Yeah, me and JJ were going tomorrow so if you guys want to come you can," I explained smiling at them.
They looked at each other and smiled. "Sure," They said in unison. I saw a tall figure in the corner of my eye. I couldn't make out who it was but then when Jade and Divine started giggling I knew who it was.

I stood up and turned around to face him. He wrapped his arms around me. "Hey, beautiful." He said. "Hey," I say. "Aren't you supposed to be warming up right now?" I asked curiously. "Yeah, but I need to see you." He admitted. I turned red. "Aww, how sweet." I rolled my eyes. "Well, kickoff is gonna start," He said, letting go of me. I frowned."But I'll kiss you before I leave you." He smiled.
