"Pacing the rocks, staring out at the midnight sea."

"Wake up, dear," Y/N's father budges her shoulder slightly, as she turns away from him, sun seeping in through her window, hitting her eyes, making her turn over to face her father again.

Y/N groans, hating mornings, especially early ones, "Why?"

"Your letter," He holds his hand above her head, as her eyes flicker open.

The letter is crisp, with old and old envelope that is a tan colour, as well as a the red seal with the Hogwarts logo. Though Y/N is tired, she grabs it out of his hand and rolls onto her stomach, burying her face in the white pillow, but still clutching onto that letter like it's her only life source.

"I'll fix breakfast," Her father promptly leaves her to wake up.

Y/N groggily looks up at the ceiling, finally moving onto her back. She stretches her arms out and then looks at the letter in her hand. She leans up against the headboard before opening the letter carefully.
