Chapter 5: Rivalry and Revelations

It's been a few days since Illusion has been assigned to be Megatron's second in command, and she HATED it. Having to do every report that Starscream usually does was killing her with the overgrowing stress. She hadn't had energon for a while since she's been planning the next attack. "《I hate my life so much....》" She was typing on the computer as she tried planning the attack. Starscream passed her and overlooked her work. "That's wrong -" "《FUCK OFF!》" She glares at StarScream as he chuckles a bit. "It's not my fault Megatron thought you'd be perfect for the job." Illusion optics twitched a bit as she returned to working on her plan. "《Get lost. I still have to plan the other attacks and have the troops ready soon.》" StarScream rolls his optics as he walks away. He was still pissed off from being demoted. "/still upset screamer?/" StarScream glares at Soundwave, who was leaning against the door. "Is it obvious...?" StarScream said sarcastically. "/It's not her fault, you know. You always try to betray Megatron./" StarScream scoffs as he goes to do his job.

It's been a few hours, and Illusion's attack failed miserably. StarScream was hearing through the door, loud yelling and scowling can be heard. KnockOut passes by and listens in on the conversation. "Should we feel bad for her?" "Nah..."

"《THIS IS WHY I QUITTED BEING YOUR COMMANDER IN THE BEGINNING!!!》" Illusion was yelling at Megatron as they argued about earlier. "STARSCREAM'S ATTACKS FAIL MISERABLY AS WELL." After a few hours of yelling, Illusion eventually left the throne room. "《stupid.... brother..... piece of scrap....》" Illusion grumbled under her breath, leaving pissed off. She believed she was quiet when she left, but she wasn't. Arachnid was close enough to hear her swears, completely taken off guard. She smiled to herself as she began talking with a few vehicons.

The next day, everyone on the Nemesis knew of Illusion's and Megatron's relationship. The vehicons were talking amongst themselves, and even some bold ones asked Megatron himself. The news eventually reached the only 3 Decepticons that knew their secret earlier. "/ Which one of you blew it!?/" Soundwave entered medbay, hearing the news. Starscream and KnockOut pointed at each other. "It wasn't me. It was definitely Starscream!" "Says the mech that loves to gossip!" They yelled at each other until they realized it wasn't any of them. "Then who was it!?" "Me..." They all turn around to see Arachnid by the door. "/why did you even tell everyone!? And how did you find out?/" Soundwave pointed at Arachnid. "She just passed me and slipped up. That's all..." She walks away, not feeling the daggers of the 3 Decepticons behind her. "Such a glitch...." KnockOut cussed under his breath. "My best guess is Megatron and Illusion are being interrogated by everyone on the ship."

Illusion was assaulted by both Dreadwing and Breakdown, who were asking her a million questions over her personal life. Even Shockwave asked her as well. "Is it true that you both are related!?" "How's it like growing up with Megatron???" "Was it easy being able to beat him at the battle in kaon???" Illusion felt her helm suffered the worst headaches in history. ThunderCracker and Skywarp were annoying Megatron with questions as well, but he managed to scare them away. He eventually ran into Illusion,  being questioned by the other Decepticons. His anger began to rise, seeing his poor sister being assaulted.

Brother Protective Mode: ON

He eventually yells at everyone, all running away. "GET LOST NOW!!!" All Decepticons ran away, leaving Illusion and Megatron alone. "《Oh primus....》" She felt a wave of relief as soon as everyone left. "You too, huh?" Megatron pats her shoulder. She nods as well. "《What's important is we find out who found out about this...?》" They both look at each other before settling on who it was.

Starscream.

"STARSCREAM!!!" Megatron's yells were heard throughout the Nemesis ship. Starscream felt sweat rolling down his face, his legs wobbling as he walked toward the throne room. "This is bad...." KnockOut whispered under his breath. They watched as StarScream walked in front of Megatron, not looking directly at him. "Look at me, coward!" StarScream looks up at him, holding his threatening tears. "You DARE reveal my sibling relationship with Illusion....?" StarScream shakes his head violently. "It wasn't me! I swear to -" StarScream gasped, feeling Megatron holding him against his neck. "I think an execution will be happening. Right. NOW." Megatron threw him across the room, hitting against a wall. "No, please -" StarScream was about to be flung again, but KnockOut and Soundwave got in front of him. "It wasn't him! It was Arachnid!!!" KnockOut pointed towards her, who glared back at him. Megatron glares at her as well before leaving StarScream alone with the two. Starscream sighs in relief before noticing Illusion staring at them. She sighs and walks away. Starscream watches her leave before talking with KnockOut and Soundwave.

"Now is a good time to talk with her....?"
