The morning sun cast a golden glow over Seoul as Sunoo readied himself for his first day at HYBE High. He stood in front of the mirror, meticulously adjusting his crisp uniform, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. This day marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his life, and he was eager to see what adventures lay ahead.
Navigating the bustling streets of Seoul, Sunoo couldn't help but admire the striking architecture of HYBE High. The school seamlessly blended modernity with traditional Korean design, embodying both innovation and heritage. It was a reflection of Seoul itself – a city where the old and the new coexisted harmoniously.
Waiting outside the school gates was Jungwon, who greeted Sunoo with a warm smile. Dressed in the same uniform as Sunoo, they looked like they belonged there.
"Hey, Sunoo! Ready for your first day?" Jungwon's enthusiasm was infectious.
Sunoo nodded, his nervousness dissipating in the presence of his new friend. "Definitely. Thanks for showing me around, Jungwon."
Jungwon led Sunoo through the bustling hallways of HYBE High, introducing him to the school's layout and pointing out important landmarks. Along the way, they were greeted by friendly waves and hellos from other students, making Sunoo feel like he was already part of the community.
As they walked, Jungwon mentioned his friends, Ni-ki and Heesung, who were also in their class. Sunoo was eager to meet them and expand his circle of friends in Seoul.
When they finally reached their classroom, Sunoo was met with curious gazes from his new classmates. He exchanged polite greetings with those who introduced themselves, feeling like the new kid in school – a role he was fully embracing.
The school day unfolded in a whirlwind of introductions, lessons, and friendly interactions. Sunoo was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming his classmates were, quickly dispelling any apprehension he had about fitting in.
At lunchtime, Jungwon invited Sunoo to join him and his friends at a nearby restaurant. Ni-ki and Heesung, like Jungwon, were welcoming and friendly, making Sunoo feel right at home.
Over lunch, they shared stories and laughter, creating an immediate sense of camaraderie. Sunoo couldn't have asked for a better group to spend his first day with in Seoul.
Ni-ki, always the prankster of the group, couldn't resist sharing a funny story. "Hey, guys, remember that time in middle school when I convinced our teacher that I had a pet penguin?"
Jungwon burst into laughter. "Oh, that was classic, Ni-ki! Our teacher actually believed you for a moment!"
Heesung chimed in, "And then Ni-ki brought a stuffed penguin to school the next day, claiming it was his 'pet.'"
Ni-ki shrugged, grinning mischievously. "Well, it had a name tag that said 'Mr. Penguin.' How could she not believe it?"
Their laughter echoed through the restaurant, earning curious glances from nearby diners. Sunoo found himself laughing along, delighted by the easygoing nature of his new friends.
As they finished ordering their meals, Sunoo's gaze wandered around the restaurant and fell upon a group of older students who had just entered. His attention was drawn to one particular student, who exuded confidence and charm. Sunoo watched him intently, curiosity getting the best of him.
Jungwon, noticing Sunoo's distraction, leaned in and asked, "What's caught your eye, Sunoo?"
Sunoo hesitated for a moment before replying, "That guy over there, the one who just walked in. Who is he?"
Jungwon followed Sunoo's gaze and chuckled softly. "Oh, you mean them. Those are Sunghoon, Jay, and Jake from the other class. We all used to be close friends, but things changed after we were separated into different classes. It's been a while since we've talked."
