"KIM FUCKING SUNOO, so you're telling me HOON this WHOLE FUCKING TIME was your LAB PARTNER SUNGHOON?! and he FUCKING KISSED you at the masquerade? " Beomgyu's voice came through the phone, an exuberant blend of shock and disbelief that nearly shattered Sunoo's eardrums.
Sunoo laughed at his friend's enthusiasm. "Yes, it's true. Sunghoon is Hoon, and we shared a kiss at the masquerade."
Beomgyu's reaction was immediate and explosive. "WHAT IN THE K-DRAMA IS THIS? Are you guys dating now?"
Sunoo's laughter was infectious. "I don't know... We haven't really talked about it..."
As if on cue, Sunoo received a message from Sunghoon. His heart raced as he read it.
Ho_on: Should we give it a shot and make it official?
Sunoo's face lit up with a bright smile, and he quickly replied.
will_ddeonu: Yes, definitely. I'd love that.
His conversation with Beomgyu continued, and he couldn't help but share the exciting news. "Gyu, it looks like we're taking the next step. Sunghoon just asked if we should make it official."
Beomgyu's squeal of delight could be heard through the phone. "Bitch, don't forget to invite me and Yeonjun to your guys' wedding. Y'all gonna be the cutest couple-"
Sunoo's heart was aflutter with anticipation. "I'm really excited. We've been through so much, and this feels like the beginning of a new chapter."
Beomgyu's voice was full of warmth and affection. "It's about damn time! You deserve someone as charming and great as him~."
*Time skip~*
The quaint little café on the corner was their chosen hideaway, a place where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee danced in the air, and the soft jazz music in the background set the perfect scene for their rendezvous.
Sunoo and Sunghoon sat at a corner table, their fingers tracing patterns on the wooden surface as they shared a pot of fragrant tea. The cozy atmosphere wrapped around them like a warm embrace, filling the space between them with a sense of quiet intimacy.
Sunoo glanced up from his cup, his eyes locking with Sunghoon's. "You know, Sunghoon, we've been spending so much time together lately, and it's been incredible. I can't help but wonder..."
Sunghoon leaned in closer, a fond smile gracing his lips. "What are you wondering, Sunoo?"
Sunoo took a deep breath, his heart fluttering like a butterfly's wings. "Do you think we should... consider each other as boyfriends?"
Sunghoon's eyes lit up, mirroring Sunoo's vulnerability. "I've been thinking the same thing, Sunoo. I mean, we're practically a couple already."
Their unspoken emotions swirled between them, weaving a story only they could understand. It was clear that their connection went beyond friendship, but the idea of officially taking the step to call each other boyfriends felt like a monumental leap.
Sunoo's voice was soft, a blend of affection and uncertainty. "I just didn't want to assume anything. But if you feel the same way, then... maybe we should give it a try?"
Sunghoon reached across the table, their fingers touching like a promise. "I'm all in, Sunoo. I want to be your boyfriend."
A warm, contented smile spread across Sunoo's face. "And I want to be yours."
They sealed their newfound commitment with a tender touch, their fingers interlocking. The café around them seemed to hum with approval, as if it recognized the beauty of their budding love.
As they continued to share stories, laughter, and cups of tea, they understood that their coffee date marked a turning point. The connection they had nurtured was now an undeniable love, and they were more than ready to embark on this exciting journey together.
A simple coffee date had brewed something beautiful between them, a love that promised to fill their lives with warmth and sweetness in every season to come.
