Harua
I almost cracked my back open as I bent down to clean the room. I could see Maki giggling and running with the mop to and fro with music blasting in his ears. Gosh, how does he even have so much energy? Even though I am just an year older than him my body is weak for this cleaning shit. I mean I am that pampered child who never even bothered to clean his desk.
"Harua!" I heard Maki call me. I plopped onto the floor lying flat on it. He ran up tot me and plopped beside me. He pulled out one ear phone and placed it in my ear. "Oh! Blind Love?" I recognized the song by &Team. "You stan them too?" He asked. "Yeah, I recently knew about them" I said. "You like this song?" He asked. "Hmm, I do" I said and smiled.
Our hands brushed across each other's. I gluped and let out a breathe. We are too close.
We both have always harbored feelings for each other. And yes we KNOW. We both know that we like each other. But we are just scared. Scared to move first. Scared to loose each other.
Maki crept his hand onto mine and held it softly. I didn't bother to ask or react. I just went with it. I closed my eyes and it felt like I was on fresh grass surrounded my flowers and under a tree's shade. The cool breeze hitting us. That's how he makes me feel. Like a whole new world has come to find me.
I tightened my grip on his hand.

"AH! That scared me" I got up as Maki got a call from Taki. "Guys, where are you?" Taki asked. "At school why?" I answered. "Oh! till now, Aren't you guys hungry?" Taki asked. I looked at the time and gasped '09:30'?
I suddenly heard a growling voice and looked at Maki. Maki smiled awkwardly and widely. I smiled as I felt it was cute. "Taki, Bye, We will head out now" I said and walked out with Maki.
"I want to eat Takoyaki today!" Maki jumped. "Ok, let's eat that" I said and nodded my head. "Who reaches last to the gate pays!" Maki said and sprinted away. "Ah! Maki!~" I sighed and ran behind and obviously, I was late.
"You pay!~" He danced shaking his booty. I rolled my eyes and sighed. He climbed off the gate easily. Since we were late the guard had already left and the gate was closed. I sighed again as my unathletic ass wouldn't be able to climb it.
I groaned and got onto the gate. "What the- Are you gonna stay like that, get down already!" Maki yelled looking at me half hanging on the gate. "H-Help...I-I can't get down" I said holding on tightly. "Gosh! What kind of grown man can't get off the gate" Maki sighed. "Being unathletic isn't a crime!" I retorted. He pulled me out and held onto my waist tightly. "Done!" He said and stood back up properly. "Why are you so light?" He commented and walked away.
We soon reached the Takoyaki place and sighed. "It's close" Maki fake sobbed. I was internally happy as I could save myself from getting bankrupt...or should i say pocket-money-rupt. I just don't get it how come this bastard ends up using my money and is always a miser while his parents are filthy rich as his dad is a owner of a store and his mom is well known designer.
"Harua!" Maki looked at me. "What is it?" I asked him with a smile. "Let's go on a supermarket date" He said and pulled me. 'Date? The audacity of this dude who didn't even bother to confess'
"What do you mean by date? We aren't even dating" I said looking at him with a sulky face. "Of course friends can go on dates too" He said. "No! They can't, They shouldn't!?!" I said and sighed. "Why is that!?! Those girls in our class always go like, mE aNd mY bEsTiE wIlL gO oN a sHopPiNg dAtE tHiS wEeKeNd!~" He mocked them and I cracked up at his joke.
We picked out some snacks and two packs of ramen and sat at the table provided there. Maki kept on cracking weird jokes and blabbering all the tea he overheard from the girls with his mouth full. I would laugh or smack him for chocking on his food. He would occasionally pull out his chopsticks in front of me offering me a bite.
He kept on talking and talking and talking. No one would ever know how much I wished for this moment to stay forever like literally forever.
"Harua" He called me while I was paying the bill. "Where will you go after this?" He asked. "Well, home obviously, my back still hurts like crazy, from tomorrow you do the detention" I said. He subtly chuckled and smiled widely. "Well, will you...come with me for a while?"
He dragged me to a place again. I sighed looking around. "Did you have to be so secretive about this place?" I asked him, It was our hideout. His father's old rundown building's rooftop. "Look at the time" He said and smiled.
"11:10-Oh! no 11:11" I said and looked at him confused.
"Remember when we always used to come here to make a wish at 11:11" He said and I nodded. "Well, I will make the wish again today...The wish I have always wished for" He said and smiled.
"MAKE ME AND HARUA STAY TOGETHER FOREVER...NO! LONGER THAN FOREVER"
I looked at him flustered and my cheeks flushed up pink.
"Harua Shigeta, You have always been my 11:11 wish"
