The bell indicates that another customer is here, it makes La El look at the door expectantly, spotting the blond walk in.
She partly sighs in relief, waiting for him to spot her which he does easily even in the crowded café. She wonders if he'll be mad at her for hurting his friend?
All he does is sit in front of her and take a sip of the coffee she ordered for herself, sliding it back to her.
" You wanted to meet. That's new. " He just smiles at slightly, " Or you'd always be running away. "
La El is too confused to question how the waitress just places another coffee in front of him when he didn't even order anything. She bites the inside of her cheek.
" I was curious about something. "
Her lips still tingle.
She was definitely going berserk, that's for sure.
She didn't do her research for nothing. Everything around her was suspicious now, like it was just an artificial world she's living in and all of it made to make her believe things that are wrong.
She asked her father where she's from, and how her brother does not have any physical similarities with her, getting a tensed answer that "You're from different mothers. I'm sorry for not telling you about this before."
And he avoids her after that.
But what was she going to do of the old documents hidden in a safe she sneaked a look from in her father's study?
A place she wasn't allowed to enter, a locker she wasn't allowed to have access to.
Why did the documents there say she's from Busan? And why did her father insist she's from Seoul?
What confused her was her name was still La El in the document. La El was over the edge thinking she was Y/n, all the craziness Bangtan was going through just to assume she's Y/n made her question her own reality.
Jimin sits across her too, as if he had known she'd ask something like this.
Would this end up in tears for him just like Jin? Would she hurt this poor soul too? She purses her lips.
" What were you curious about? "
" Tell me about Y/n. "
And she stares intently, watching the way his smile falters just a little, the way his eyes mist over distantly as if she has thrown him into a bundle of old memories.
" N/n...she was quite fierce but bubbly at the same time..." He smiles, " She had a mentality disorder where she slips often, having two mindsets. The doctors could never tell what happened to her...."
"... But apart from that, she was faithful and really protective of people she loved even in both the mindset, her main goal was to always protect. "
She nods slowly, it made her breath hitch. Did he know she slips? Did Bangtan tell him about it? She recall having done that in the gala months ago.
