" mhm...I wonder if he's going to eat this. He's right, it does suck. " She mumbled, leaning against the lift wall as the elevator went up.

With a ding! it stops, and La El realises seconds later that it's Jin standing in front of the lift with a blank face, they just stare at each other for a few seconds and she shuffles in the corner awkwardly as two more nurses run in, partly pushing Jin alongside to enter.

Jin who did not want to step into the lift gulped down his protests, shooting a scowl to the two nurses who nervously avoid his gaze. He huffs, the awkwardness suffocating him.

Eventually, the two nurse leave as well but he the doors close before anyone else could enter.
He sighs softly, deciding to ignore her but when do things go his way?

The elevator shakes wildly, and halts to a harsh stop causing them to stumble. He's surging forward to cover her head before it bangs against the wall, the bag in her hand falling to the ground.

He curses, almost blurting out if she's okay but she looks at him, shocked. He remains quiet, hating himself for the position he's stuck in.
Just when he wanted to stay away from her, he always ended up so close to her.

It was like a curse.

When he wanted to keep her close to him, she was painfully taken away from him.

And now....when he tries to keep away, he's pulled right back in. Avoiding her gaze, he steps back, pressing the emergency button, trying to contact the staff who could get him out of here.

He hates the way he's feeling. How he wished he could hold her again, cherish her and protect her even more than he used to.

But again, he examines the way she looks at him, like he's some person who's trying to kill her, nothing else. And it hurts all over again.

La El let's out a shaky sigh, trying not to let the musky scent affect her. Deep down, she likes the way it felt so calming, but it also brings guilt to the surface. The guilt she's been trying to bury.

The images of him breaking down can't be washed away from her memory, never. And it's painful for some reason, more painful than it should've been.

Hurting him physically, she would accept. But even though she has been trying to stay away from him, she didn't want to poke at his wounds.

She herself didn't know why she had kissed him in the first place.

What had gotten into her?

She bites the inside of her cheek, picking up the bag she had brought from cafeteria, cursing inwardly as she heard the person behind the  intercom say it'll take a while.

" Well then hurry the fuck up. " Jin scowled, leaning against the cold metal as she gazed at the door hard, hoping it'll just open or the lift starts moving.
He glances at his phone, realising there's no signal either. " Fuck. "
