"You didn't trust me" Guilt washed over her when a tear cascaded down his eye.
He is crying for the first time. She is the sole reason behind his tears.
"I am sorry" She lowered her eyes in shame.
He stepped closer to her gripping her forearm with his left hand. A shiver rolled down her spine not due to their proximity but due to the tension vibrating between them.
She looked up and her heart cracked in response as betrayal brimmed his eyes.
"You claimed to love me but you couldn't trust me. Is our love so fragile ?" His words cut through her soul.
The question felt like a mock. Question on their relationship. Question on her trust for him. Question on her lover for him.
"I trusted you with everything. I strip off my every layer for you. I bared my soul to you. You are the only one whom I allowed to do this and I get this in return. If this is what love feels like then I don't want it" He left arms with a jerk and heaved a sigh suppressing the anger bubbling inside him.
Hurt visible on his face and his voice held a mixture of anger and pain. She had never seen him this sad. This helpless. She hate to admit that she is the cause of it.
"Adhyan please don't---"
"You are,you were and you will be my responsibility. So there is no chance I will hurt you, it would be best If I go away "
