The atmosphere was tense as Viren was taken to the operation theatre an hour ago. Few members of Rajvansh family along with Sharanya and Veena were waiting outside. Veena was chanting mantras continuously carrying a Tulsi mala while Sharanya was sitting with Adhyansh.
Adhyansh observes his wife who is getting anxious each passing second. She is shaking her legs from the past few minutes impatiently. He was debating in his mind whether to console her or not. Since he knew he is bad at this task.
Adhyansh held her hand and gives squeeze to it. She became still, lifting her eyes and their eyes meet for a nano second before she averts her gaze. His thumb making some pattern on her hand silently conveying that he is with her.
"He promised me that he will try to come back" Sharanya mutters looking down.
"And you promised to be strong" Adhyansh adds.
"He will be alright. Right ?" She looks upto him for confirmation.
"He has to" Adhyansh blinks.
Sharanya let out a shaky breath and her breathing turns harsh increasing his worries. He wound his arm around her shoulder pulling her closer to his chest and smoothes her back.
"Shhh...calm down" He detangles their joined hands and retrieves his phone. He messaged his one of his guard to fetch some water.
Within few minutes a guard stood infront of him with a glass of water. He forwards the glass to her to which she shakes her head in denial.
"I don't want anything"
"Relax. Take a few sip" He lifts the glass toward her lips.
"No"
"I insist please" She couldn't deny his pleas and drink few sips from his hand.
"Dadi should stop now she hasn't eaten anything since morning. She will listen to you stop her" Adhyansh suggests.
"She is stubborn. She won't listen to anyone right now and won't eat or drink anything until doctor says something"
"You both are equally stubborn" She shot up a glare offended with his word.
Devang was watching them with a content smile on his face. He knew he has taken a best decision by getting them married to each other. They will become the strongest pillar of each other and were meant to be together.
Adhyansh pulls away from Sharanya due to the constant vibrations from his phone. He checks his phone and was bombarded with notifications. His wedding news was spread in the country like a forest fire. There were several articles about his wedding but one article caught his attention. His jaw ticked and anger rippled through him.
"Adhyansh got married in a close knit ceremony and according to the sources the newly wedded couple are in hospital. Did Adhyansh and his wife were in relation before ? Are they already pregnant ? Is there wedding rumour is spread to cover up the pregnancy ?"
