"I will be leaving then, if you want anything come to my dormitory building. Oh! I forgot, you know my room number right?" Hoseok asked as he dropped Jimin at his dorm building.

"I know hyung, you have said it more than 10 times. I am not a child."

"Says the one who let me walk for an hour to find this building when it's only 10 minutes from the registration building."

"That's an accident okay. Who would have known that cat person will play prank on me." Jimin pouted.

"Haha...I really want to see him, haha"

"I am going mr.hope. You can stand here and laugh all you want, don't tell others you know me." Said Jimin as he walked away.
'If I see him again, I'll definitely let him understand who he have provoked. Damn cat man.'
He cursed inwardly.

"Someone's dig their own grave. Tsk"
Mumbled Hoseok as he walked towards his dormitory building. He's in mecha piloting department and Jimin's a medical student. So they have different dormitory buildings.

There are four main departments in the academy. Mecha-piloting, for ones who have good physical stats and mental stats. If both are at a certain rank will they be able to take mecha-piloting as a profession. But that doesn't mean other students will not study mecha operations. Actually, it is a compulsory course for every department to study mecha operations and basic piloting skills. But their efficiency in mecha handling will be very poor, well some extraordinary students will have good skills. But all-in-all the best students or the future marshalls,generals, commanders etc. are those who took mecha-piloting as main course. Others only study that for emergency situations.

In a world where technology is at peak and wars happening at every single second, it's really a requirement for everyone to know basic defence. We will never know what will happen the next minute in such a fast-paced world. Apart from human's constant conflicts for planets and resources, there's also zergs that's taking advantage of the human race. Zergs can only be killed with high mental power thus marking the value of individuals with high mental power rank.

Second is the mech-tech department. It's where the students study everything about mecha building, their repairs, upgrades, other weapons making etc. It is also a highly sought after field.
Think about it even if there is geniuses in mecha piloting, they will be crushed if the opponent have better mecha and weapons. Therefore genious mech-techers are also highly sought after.

Next is the medical department. It includes pharmaceuticals, treatments, etc. Their value cannot be neglected in this era. The advancement in medical field had lead to many quick healing medicines, serum etc. Some can even be used to improve physicue and mental power. In a war if there is a side with better medical equipments, doctors and medicines, their victory is almost half confirmed. That's the role the medics play in the new era.

The nations with better advancements in medicine and mech-tech are respected among other nations. Even if they didn't have good military power other nations will not blindly attack them.

The last but not the least is the logistics department. Don't underestimate them, they are the backbone of a military. They include strategists, hackers, programmers, economists etc that are crucial in the working of every other department.

Well all four departments are interconnected. One cannot operate without the efficient handling of other. So the nations having all the four departments well equipped with prodigies need to be feared. No one will dare to provoke them. And this academy is where those prodigies are birthed or moulded to be better.
