He was just pretending
And there you were,
Who didn't even know how to hide
or fake the feelings.
He never felt ashamed,
Deceiving you.
He should have known about his emotions.
And you still held him like
You knew he would stay.
You were too selfish
And never wanted to lose him,
Which made his heart, ache.
Before you could even realise it,
And feel how he felt,
He was already distinct and gone.
