~ Mamma, colei che mi tiene in braccio da quando ero un bambino, per favore regalami una cosa ~
"Please.........." I was begging my mom for the new Jendeir high tops.
" You have your blue, what do you call it, oh right skechers?" She did have a point. "People barely wear those pathetic shoes any more mom." I said annoyed.
After all that begging, I was so exhausted. Even my mom saw that so next thing you know she came to my room. " So, what were those shoes you were talking about?" My eyes lightened up. I looked up to her and she was holding her phone.
"JD High tops"
"How about you search for it ?" My mom chuckled. Before I could press Add to cart my mom grabbed my hands aggressively. I knew exactly what she was gonna say. "OK mom, we can compromise." "Promise you will never make fun of the other kids' shoes." I nodded, as she hugged me. " Oh one more thing," You sure you don't want the blue skechers, I love them, better..."- " I, Alexa G Regio, promise to never make fun of other children's shoes, and no I would rather not be caught with those shoes on." She hugged me even tighter than she did before.
"Your shoes will come Monday Morning a day before school starts." " I love you, Mom." I said as she squeezed me. " Of course you do, I love you too." she said as she let me go, she rubbed my head like she always does then left.
I went to bed smiling myself to sleep.

I went to the living room to watch some Netflix when I saw my mom with her most serious face on her while dad was patting the seat between them.
I asked him what was going on. I looked on the phone and it was Mr. Ricci, my grandma's private Executor. ( grandma's rich )
I took the phone. And after that, I sniffed. After the big news, there was a deep silence. My dad cleared his throat, like he was about to say something to break the silence. I looked up, then he closed his mouth.
Grandma has a heart condition, and she needs people to take care of her fortune and restaurant.

My Parents and I went shopping to buy stuff for traveling. Dad bought tickets and we were leaving ol'e good Florida for good. ( For a year, probably, I don't know.)
I wanted to scream, so as soon as we got back from home
I put my head under my pillow and I screamed from the top of my lungs. I couldn't just leave Orlando.
Me: UM.... It was nice knowing you
Jen: Wait your ditching me
Me: I have to, I'm going to Italy
for who knows how long.
Jen: Whyyyyyy......
Me: I don't have a choice :(
Jen: I will still text you and facetime you everyday:)
Me: Okay, so will I :)
Jen has been my best friend since 3rd grade and now she is still my best friend. Nothing can break us apart, even if we are 4,273 miles away from each other, but hey who's counting. :)
After texting my friend, I went ahead and went to the HIP & HOP deli to say good-bye to my other friend, Grandpa Joe. He is not actually my Grandpa that's what everybody calls him, cause he has all white hair. You might be wondering how I ended up being his friend. Well, that's because... When I moved houses to Orlando, Florida, my mom told me I needed out-door time so his deli was in front of my house and then I confiscated some vegetables from his private garden ( which I thought was a public garden). Then one day he caught me taking them, But believe it or not, he wasn't mad, he was actually proud that a child wanted to eat some vegetables.
