"Were here", Toby exclaimed. We were standing in front of a light blue door. He opened the door and gestured to the room before saying "so...whatcha think?", he asked. The room was pretty plain, it had a double bed with purple sheets, there was a desk in the corner of the room with a small desk lamp and some old drawing books and assorted coloured pencils, next to it was a large dresser, I opened one of the draws and it already had clothes in it.
"Was this someone else's room?", I asked toby.
"Yeah, it was a girl named clockwork but she left a while ago", he replied.
"Do you know why?", I asked.
"No, but she said she wasn't coming back and she was ok with not having a room if she ever came back. So I guess all this is yours now", he said blankly.
I looked around the room, it was pretty nice just had a bit of dust but that would be easily fixed. Toby walked out " if you need anything just ask me", he said sweetly he walked out the door but then stopped just outside the doorway "hey Abbie?", he called.

"Yeah", I answered.

"Just remember I've always got your back", he said softly. A warm smile spread across my face. He left and I sat down on the bed 'maybe I can trust them', I thought.

"Hi!", a little voice shouted causing me to flinch a bit. I looked at the doorway to see a curious little girl 'what was her name again..uh oh yeah it was Sally wasn't it' I thought. "Oh hi Sally", I said.
"Will you play with me?", she asked.
"Um sure why not but just remember I don't know most of these games", I replied.
"Let's play dress up!", she said playfully
"Ok sure", I said giggling a bit from her loudness.

She dragged me all over the place carelessly. We stopped at a soft pink door with a cute decorated sign reading 'Sally's room'. She opened the door to reveal every little girls dream, the walls and carpet were both a soft pink along with plush toys and dolls everywhere, there was a chest full of toys and dress ups and a small table with a cute tea set. I would have killed to have a room like that when I was little.

She giggled "you really didn't have much as a kid did you", she asked. I still was a kid but the strange thing was I wasn't keeping track of the days anymore 'have I had my birthday' I thought. "Hey Sally what's the date?", I asked curiously.
"June 11th, why?", she asked.
"Sally can you keep a secret", I whispered.
"Yes your my big sister", she said. I smiled softly to what she said.
"Well it's my birthday today and I'm 14...", I said whispering softly in her ear, her face lit up with excitement.
"But!....I don't want anyone to know ok", I said to her.
She drew an imaginary x across her chest and said, "Cross my heart".
