Riley pov
I run down stairs and open the door to find Starburst there.
"Have you seen kitty lately!?".
"No..she left from here awhile ago".
After I said that she showed me her and Kate's conversation.
"I have to go look for her!", I went to grab my shoes but Starburst grabs my arm.
"What if your too late Riley?".
She grabs the back of my neck and kisses me. I push Starburst away.
"Your her bestfriend!".
"Well she should be a deadfriend now..".
I grab Starburst by the neck tightly choking her.
"Where is Kate!?".
Starburst struggles for air but tells me. I kick her my house and drives to the abandon brewary with a gun in my hand. I arrive to see Kate bloody in a chair crying. She glances at me as I take out my pocket knife and
I cut the ropes binding her hands down. I hawl her onto my back as blood drips down on to my clothes from her thighs. I start walking few paces away from the chair and three guys pop outta nowhere.
"Hey stop right there bo-".
Before the guy can finnish his sentence, I shoot one guy in the knee then the next in the thigh.
The last guy ran off because I guess he was a huge pussy deep down.
I lay Kate down in the back of my car and ripp parts of my shirt to cover her wounds.
I try to be as gentle as I can be, I was angry at her before but now all i want to do right now is protect her.
I cant drive her to the hospital because it would take to long since it was three hours away from my house and where we are right now took about an hour to get here by speeding. I check on kate through my car mirror.
She fell asleep but wimpers every couple minutes.
Kate starts speaking in her sleep.
"I'm.....sor...ry....Ri..ley...".
Those words that come from her mouth makes me start to cry.
Im such a wuss but I feel so bad for not listening to Kate when she came to my house in the rain.
Kate pov
I woke up at Riley's house. I was in Riley's room.
I scan my body to see bandages and an ice pack on a huge bruise on my ankle.
There was a glass of water and some soup. I hear the door open to see Riley concerned and he rushes over to my side. "Im so sorry Kate...when I saw you there in that chair, all I could think of was I was going to kill whoever did that to you". Riley gently sits me up so I can drink some water.
"Riley.. I'm so sorry I hurt you...I love you so much and..I realized that when I snuck into you house and when I.. slept over in the your bed with you and I felt so happy. I hope we can start over and not have a relationship from a dare".
Riley smiled at me and got into the sheets of his bed and cuddles me.
"Sure we can start over. Kate, Will you do the honor of becoming my girlfriend?".
I lick Riley's nose and he becomes flustered.
"Yes I accept, promise to be mine today, tommorow and forever?".
"Today, tomorrow and forever".
We kiss then take a nap together.
