Meet Curtis

She would rather stay in the beast world with Mr.Snake than go back and marry that old man. Engaged in her thoughts she failed to detect the large red snake and its hissing at the mouth of the cave.

Curtis returned after his bath only to find a female sitting with tears in his cave before the fire holding his shedding. She seemed very familiar. Have they met before? Lin Ai came out of her thoughts and noticed Curtis in his half-beast form, standing in front of the cave.

He has become handsome and enchanting in past seven years that she lost herself in him. His long red hair and his cold face but gentle red eyes looking at her lovingly were still the same. "Mr. Snake. I finally found you again." she called out crying running into his arms.

"Little kid!!" realisation hit Curtis when he heard her call him Mr.Snake. He remembered a little one he met years ago who disappeared after that and never appeared again. The little one from years ago has changed a lot.

If not for her baby blue hair and her calling him Mr.Snake he would not have realised it was the same little kid from years ago. "What are you doing here?" he asked holding the crybaby in his arms.

"I came to find you. I tried finding you every time I came here but you were not there." Lin Ai said crying. She finally found her Mr.Snake. "Okay okay.. didn't you find me in the end? Don't cry anymore" he said wiping her tears helplessly.

Curtis did not know what to do with the crying female in his arms. He did not expect the little kid to cry so much just because she could not find him. If he knew he would not have changed the cave and stayed there.

Lin Ai did not know why she was crying and was embarrassed. She just could not control her tears. Lin Ai thought of how Bai Qingqing treated her Mr.Snake and other mates at the beginning and found her annoying.

She should not have even taken his skin in the first place, it did not belong to her. Just being a feral makes him bad? Hmph!! Since she was here she would not allow Bai Qingqing to even come near her Mr.Snake.

"Mr.Snake, did you miss me?" Lin Ai asked him with anticipation. Did she also miss her like she missed him? "Of course, I missed you little one." Curtis said rubbing her head. "You grew up well. I almost did not recognize you."

Lin Ai giggled at his words and said "You also have become more handsome Mr.Snake." Lin Ai was tired after all the crying and fell asleep in Curtis's arms and he let her sleep since it was too late anyway.
