Run Away

Lin Ai was an orphan who was adopted by her parents when she was five. She thought she would have a happy family but unknown to her, they only invested in her to sell her at a greater price when she was older.

All her dreams were shattered. She wailed and begged them but they heartlessly sold her, who was only fifteen years old to an old man who already had one foot in his grave.

But Lin Ai was not ready to give up. She packed her bag and ran away the night before her wedding. What she did not expect was to teleport into a weird forest again.

Yes again, Lin Ai would teleport into this forest on her every birthday ever since she was seven and would stay there for a day before returning to her world but since her twelfth birthday, she never went there again.

She thought she would never be able to come there again. When she first came there she was terrified. Though she was only seven she was more mature than the kids of her age.

She knew something was wrong with her surroundings, she knew that this was not her world when she saw two moons at night before returning to her world.

She tried telling her parents when she returned but they dismissed her saying it was a dream. She waited for a few days but since she did not go there again she forgot about it.

But, on her eighth birthday, she was teleported there again so she decided to explore the forest and find the reason for being brought here again. She encounters a handsome half-snake and a half-human.

He had long straight red hair and matching eyes which made him look very fierce. She thought she was going to die, he would eat her like other snakes on television.

"Little kid, what are you doing alone? Don't you know roaming in the forest alone is dangerous? You will become wild wolf's food." Mr.Snake asked Lin Ai. "I...I am lost. Please don't...eat me. I..am not delicious."

He laughed and replied, "Don't worry I won't eat a skinny little kid like you." 'Wow he looks so handsome while laughing' she thought. He turned to leave but Lin Ai finally met someone who could speak to her.

She ran to him and held his little finger with her little hand 'Wow his hand is so large' The red snake froze at her touch. "Little one. You should be afraid of me, you know?"

"You told me you won't eat me, right? Why should I be afraid." Although she was a little afraid she would not admit it. She did not want to be left alone again.

"What's your name, Mr.Snake." "Curtis. What about you?" "I am Lin Ai." Their conversation was disputed by the rumbling sound from Lin Ai's stomach. "Hungry?" He asked smiling.
