chapter 4

previously: "well guys, i really appreciate it. i'll see you guys another time" i say and they all say their goodbyes and i leave the house.

i walk back down to my house and check the time. it's only 3 pm so i decide to put my hair up and sit my stuff down inside and head to the store to get shower stuff so i can take one. i take my car keys out and get in my car, starting it and backing up. i drive around a little until i find a dollar store. i pull in and park before getting out to go in. once i get in, i look around for the things i need and head to it. just in case, i get some cleaning stuff too. i find what i need and go pay. once ive paid for everything, i go back to my car and head back home. i get home and go inside. i grab some clothes and my shower stuff and take a shower. when i'm done, i dry off and do my skincare. i open the door and turn off the light and go back to my room. luckily i packed hangers so i decide to put my shirts up. i get out my speaker and turn some music on. i hang up everything i have and get out everything else. for some reason, they left a dresser in this closet. i run back downstairs to grab my cleaning supplies. i come back up and start cleaning the dresser while singing my songs. once i'm finished with that, then i start putting everything in the dresser. starting with underwear, then shorts that aren't jean shorts, then jean shorts, and then jeans. finally, an hour or two later, i'm finished with everything!! i get up from the floor and stretch before laying on my bed. i check my phone and go to instagram. i decide to follow all of the boys on there. when i get to their accounts, my eyes widen. WHAT?! they really are so famous. i feel bad for forgetting about them so i decide to watch some of their videos.
-an hour later-
i check the time and it's almost 7 pm. i'm feeling a little hungry so i get up and postmates some food. i get on and search up restaurants near me. i find my favorite and order my food. after that, i get a few notifications on instagram. i look at it and see that the boys followed me back. i smile and exit out of instagram. i start to slowly drift off and before i know it, my food gets here. i yawn and head downstairs to get it. i tip the driver and take my food inside. i go to my dining room that already had a table with it and take my food out and eat. while i'm eating, a knock on my door makes me lift my head up in confusion. i get back up and go to see who it is. i notice its sam so i open the door and let him in. "i didn't expect anyone to visit me. do you need anything?" i ask him. he shakes his head, "sorry for coming unannounced. but i just wanted to check up on you and see how you're doing." i smile. "well that's sweet. and it's okay sam, don't worry. but i'm doing good right now. i unpacked all of my clothes and put them up and i got shower and bathroom stuff earlier at the store" i reply. "well that's great. how much do you have left?" he asks. i think for a second, not really knowing what else until they come to my mind. "ummm sheets and pillows and blankets for the beds, i need to buy couches, i'll worry about tvs later, and some other stuff" i tell him. "well, i can always help you get everything" he smile. "thank you sam, i appreciate it. but remember what i said earlier" i pat him on the shoulder. he smiles again and shakes his head. "no no i remember. i just want to help, that's all. anyways, the boys wanted to know if you'd like to be in one of our youtube videos." he says. my life stops before me and i actually take a second to think. "really? i mean, are you guys sure? i don't know how your fanbases are so i don't wanna get attacked haha" i say. "well, it doesn't matter what they think. you're our friend and neighbor, so it's really not their business. you don't have to if you don't want to, we won't force you. we just wanted to know if you wanted to join a video on our channel" he explains. i nod, giving him a thumbs up. "what video are you guys doing? is it on the same and colby channel or someone's main channel?" i ask. "on my channel, i do these blind hide and seek videos in the dark. it's just a fun game for when we have no ideas and we're bored. you can use your phone to record and just send it to me and i'll put it in the video. don't worry, i'll explain it more whenever when everyone gets there. you can meet our friends too, im sure they'd love you!" he explains more. 'it can't be that bad, can it?' i ask myself. "yeah, sure. let me go get ready and i'll meet you at your house" i get up, throwing away my food. he nods and leaves so i head upstairs to get ready. i grab some decent clothes and change into them, i do my hair and makeup, and put some shoes on. i grab my phone and head to the boys' house to be in my first ever youtube video. due to my nerves, i slow down on my walking to really think about this. i mean, it's a great opportunity to be in youtube videos, let alone sam and colby. they're super famous and i know how fans can get. 'jeez stop overreacting, it's not gonna be bad' i tell myself. i finally get to the house and take a deep breath. 'get over it, you'll be fine' i think. i shake my head and open the door and go inside. i take my shoes off up front and head to the living room where the boys are. "oh hey y/n! glad to see you. you ready for the video?" colby asks. i nod as i sit down next to him. "yeah, i am. a little nervous though but i'll be okay" i reply, being honest. "it will be okay, i promise. we'll introduce you to everyone and tell you how we play!! it'll be really fun, there's so much good places to hide in" he tells me, making me feel a lot better. "alright then, sounds good. when's everyone coming?" i ask. "they should be here very soon. devyn, kat, stas, kevin, jc, kian, matt, reggie, and cassie should be coming. jake, corey, and me are playing too. sam is the seeker in all of the videos" he explains. i nod, listening to everything he says. maybe this won't be bad after all. seems like they always have fun playing.
