'Limit'

"Grandma, Grandpa!" Gabriel heard Juliet yell from downstairs as the front door opened. The boy immediately looked over at his other sisters. They all looked up from the game of monopoly they were playing.

"What if we just stay up here and pretend we're not here?" Celina suggested before the suggestion got answered.

"Kids! Come downstairs, your grandparents are here!" Their father called from the bottom of the stairs, Gabriel noting a small amount of tension in his voice.

"Come on, it won't be too bad, Jenifer's not home yet," Francesca informed, pulling Celina up from the floor.

"Oh look at all of you, all grown up!" Their grandma called out, squeezing each one of them at the made it down stairs. "Here," she whispered, secretly passing them £10 note each.

"Your dad tells me you've got offers from all the unis you've applied to," their grandad, Tom, spoke up, directly to Francesca.

"Yeah, I did," she replied.

"Why don't you show me to where I'll be sleeping and we can talk about that," he suggested, glaring back at his son-in-law before smiling at his granddaughter. Francesca nodded and led him up the stairs.

'That could have went worse,' Gabriel thought before he was cut off by the doorbell.

"Hope you didn't forget about me!" His other grandad, from his dad's side, exclaimed as he was welcomed into the house.

"I could never!" Juliet replied, hugging the older man. He smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Elisa! Good to see you! It's been, what, two years?" Jerry stated with a warm smile to the woman, taking of his hat which his son took from him.

"Too long! Hope your cooking is still as good as it used to be," she responded, motioning to her bag of ingredients.

"Elisa, you don't need to cook, you're a guest remember," Gabriel's father spoke up but was kindly dismissed with a wave of a hand.

"Nonsense. It will be..." she paused for a moment as if a memory came to her mind. "It will be like old times," she finished before she asked Juliet to show her where the kitchen is.

An hour later Jasmine was playing Pictionary with Gabriel's family.

"Time!" Juliet called to Gabriel, making him stop drawing.

"How did you not get that?" The boy exclaimed, looking at his drawing then back to Jasmine.

"Because it doesn't look like anything from earth?" Jasmine shot back receiving a laugh from Elisa which made her smile.

"It's a lion," Celina stated.

"Thank you!"

"A very abstract lion," she continued, laughing to herself. Gabriel glared at his younger sister.
