Y/n's pov:

It's my wedding day, and you guessed it wrong. It is an arranged marriage with the son of my father's business partner Mr. Kim. I agreed to this marriage because of my father. He was in debt and needed a business partner to handle his company. In return, I have to marry Mr. Kim's son.

"I do" the smiling man repeated the same words to my soon to be husband. Kim Taehyung was wearing a tailored black suit. I was standing with a man who did nothing but frown. "Yes, I do," I heard him say. He was now holding my hand. Such a simple act, but holding a stranger's hand while getting married? Not fun. Hell, forgot about holding hands– I was about to be the wife of a man I knew nothing about than what a quick google search had provided.

When I felt him pushing a ring onto my finger, I looked down and saw a beautiful wedding band with a half-circle of round diamonds staring back at me. I reached for his hand and put on his wedding band. The officiant words echoed "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride". That's it? I was married? Just like that?

I looked at my new official husband, his eyes met mine. I took the first step wanting to get over it so we could get the hell out of here. I rose up to my toes, avoiding his eyes and brushed a small kiss on his cheek. Just as I was about to let go of him, his now free hand grabbed my wrist and our eyes met. For the sake of people around us, I forced a smile on my face. He leaned down and kissed the corner of my lips. He moved away after a second. "Congratulations, I wish you two a happy life together", the officiant's words broke my trance.  We headed to our family, and they congratulated us. And I keep nodding while plastering a smile as in the fake smile on my face. The day finally got over and we got in the car towards the house.

I was struggling to get out of the car because of the heavy gown. But my husband didn't even spare a glance at me and went inside. "WTF" I cursed out loud. Then the driver came and helped me to get out of the car, I thanked him. I went inside the house to find it all black, the lights were off. I searched for the switch and turned the lights on. My eyes got stuck and damn the house is sooo pretty. The walls have green and offwhite colours painted. And it was just amazing. I went upstairs towards the room where the lights were on. I entered and saw him standing on the balcony. The door  clicked behind me and he turned towards me. "What are you doing here?" He asked and I got stuck on the words. "You can't stay here with me," he shouted when I didn't answer. "I am here to ask you, which room I can use?" I answered him and left before he could reply. There were 2 rooms and I entered one of them and plopped myself on the bed, feeling exhausted.

Next morning:

I woke up, freshened myself and started preparing breakfast. I worked in my father's company as the secretary of the CEO. But for now I have taken a leave for a month. I thought about working on this marriage. And because of the deal, Taehyung would be taking up the place of my father as the CEO. I finished making breakfast and washed my hands, but I heard the door click open. I turned to see that Taehyung was leaving. I tried to call him for breakfast but he was gone. I sighed and sat on one of the chairs.

Taehyung's pov:

I hate all this, I hate this marriage, I hate her. I was so fucking frustrated by seeing her move around in my house, cooking in my kitchen. I never wanted to marry her, it was all forced by my parents. They want me to leave the love of my life. I loved a girl, Sophie. She was the one with whom I wanted to get married and have a happy life together. We were in a happy relationship for 2 years, though she was sometimes annoying and demanding but I loved her anyway. But then my parents threatened me to marry some other girl and leave Sophie. And if I didn't agree, they would have harmed her. So I married this girl, Y/n. I never wanted to give Sophie's place to someone else, and I never will.

I went to work in the early morning to avoid Y/n. She was cooking breakfast, but I didn't want to eat anything. So I just went out without informing her. It was my first day as a CEO. I worked my ass off the whole day and till late at night. I had my lunch and dinner at the office. It was 11 pm when I arrived at home. I opened the main door and saw Y/n sitting on the couch, but she was asleep. My phone rang and she woke up. I picked up the call and talked with one of the clients. When the phone call  was off, I turned to see and she was standing in front of me. "What?" I asked, taking a few steps back. "I prepared dinner, so get freshened and I will serve dinner for us." She started walking without listening to my response. "I had my dinner." She stopped and turned around to look at me. But I went to my room without sparing a glance at her.

I lost my appetite and just slept. The next morning I woke up early so that he wouldn't leave without eating breakfast. As soon as breakfast was done I kept it on the dining table and soon he came downstairs.

"Good morning, the breakfast is ready."

"Did I ask you to cook for me?"

" No I just…."

"Don't act like you are a good wife or whatever, just stay away from me. And let me act like I am alone in this house. I don't need you and remember that it's a forced marriage."

He shouted and was going to leave. So I just grabbed his wrist. "I had already cooked so eat it, I won't disturb you after that." I left his wrist and was about to go to serve, but he held my hand harshly. And pinned me against the wall with a loud thud. I whimper out of pain. "Don't dare to get close to me. This is the very last warning: just stay away from me." He clenched his jaw leaving me there. I caress my wrist, he left his finger mark because of the tight hold. I sighed and sat on the couch. What had I gotten myself into, really? If I couldn’t even manage to have a simple conversation with the guy, what the hell were we gonna do for maybe a lifetime.
