Everybody got onto the boat, for those who have already done it, it was great; for Taehyung, it was the scariest thing. Jin and Namjoon quickly stored all the food and drinks below deck, Yoongi, Jimin and Hobi, together with Jungkook deployed the sail. Then Jungkook, taking Tae's hand, moved to stand behind the wheel, slowly taking the boat out of the harbour. Tae stood safely between Jungkook's arms, his life vest pushing his arms a tiny bit outwards, making Jungkook's arms brush against his as he moved his arms to steer the boat. Tae loved it, giggling and smiling up into Jungkook's face, his eyes shining like the blue water of the sea where the sun caught the swells of the waves. And Jungkook knew he was totally in love, completely and irrevocably. Tae has never felt like this, like his insides were bubbling with joy and excitement, the feeling of Jungkook's arms surrounding him, the muscled chest with the life vest against his back, his breath in his hair. He leaned in when Jungkook kissed his head, the feeling of being alive, of being loved, the excitement of discovering a new love.

They anchored in a small bay, using a dingy to get to land where they would hold a picnic. Jungkook dived overboard, shirtless, and so hot. Tae stood on deck staring at the gorgeous man. "Come baby, I will catch you, promise." Tae decided to take a leap of faith, literally and figuratively. He took of his life jacket and his shirt. He was ok, the bruises have all faded away. Closing his nose with his fingers, he closed his eyes and jumped, screaming as he hit the water. Jungkook immediately brought him up for air, laughing at the puffed-up cheeks, tightly closed eyes and pouting lips. He couldn't help but kiss those lips, Taehyung immediately let go of his nose and returned the kiss, saltwater dripping out of their hair onto their faces, giving the kiss a salty flavour, but they didn't care. They only broke the kiss when Jin wolf whistled, making all the other turn to see what was going on, and then, yeah, all hell broke loose, cheers, whistles, screams. The two in the water swam slowly to shore, holding hands while walking to the beach where the others were. "Joon, I told you, didn't I? When they were so comfy behind the wheel? I told you there was something brewing" Jin exclaimed, clapping his hands in excitement. Tae blushed, hiding his face in Jungkook's neck, who held the smaller boy tightly in his arms, his chin on the silver head's shoulder. "Don't tease guys, my baby gets shy" Tae hit with his fist against Jungkook's chest, blushing even more. Jungkook threw his head back and laughed at his beautiful baby's red cheeks.

So beautiful, and his.

They docked again late at night, everybody tired but happy, what a perfect day. Driving home, Jungkook kept Tae's small hand in his on his thigh, making the boy blush a bit, but he loved the closeness. Mrs Park waited for them with hot chocolate, but they had to shower before getting the treat, as per her orders. They sat on the couch, Tae's legs over Jungkook's thighs, his back resting on the arm rest. He sneaked a peek at the handsome man, blushing when he got caught. "Tae, baby, I am glad you had a good day, I loved seeing you smile and having fun with everyone. I hope I will see that smile every day." "It was so much fun, and when you let me drive the boat..." "Steer baby, we steer a boat." "Whatever, I did that and we didn't get lost and we didn't crash. It was such a powerful feeling." Tae left out a deep sigh of satisfaction, making Jungkook laugh at the over dramatic boy. "I will teach you to do it by yourself soon." Tae was very excited about that, for sure.
