Things can only get better: Taekook short story

Part 16

They went back to the cabin, had warm showers and decided to have a game night inside as it has started to snow slightly. After dinner and cleaning the kitchen they all sat on cushions in a circle in front of the fire in the fireplace. They played cards, Uno, Pictionary, trivial Pursuit, until finally the red wine and the warmth of the fire forced them to bed before they all slept in front of the fire.

Jungkook made love to his fiancé, bringing him to climax 4 times before they also finally fell asleep, safe in each other's arms.

The following morning was a do-it-yourself day, everyone did what they wanted, only assembling again the next morning for breakfast. Only rule, the rest needed to know where you are at all times, for safety reasons. Jungkook and Tae went into town with Chan, eating in the restaurant, walking through the little shops, just spending time alone, well , if you don't count Chan, be he was deaf, dumb and blind, for all intents and purposes.

Tae bought some cute small presents for everybody, just small momentos to keep when looking back one day. Jungkook bought a sapphire necklace and earrings as well, putting them on Tae, loving how the blue complimented his eyes. The sales lady gushed over the beautiful boy, and after seeing the engagement ring, she nearly was in tears, she loved happy ever afters.

They had dinner in a small restaurant, then went back to the cabin, surprised to find everyone there, they haven't checked their phones since dinner.

Another fun filled evening and early night. And so, the holiday continued until Christmas eve, everyone excited about the presents, you wouldn't say they are all grown-ups. Everybody loved the little momentoes Tae got them, and as they decided to do secret santa, because no-one could buy so many gifts with success, and the theme was "what on earth?" they had fun opening all the weird gifts. Jimin got a back scratcher that made noises when you used it, Yoongi got a pillow that farted when you sat on it, Seojoon got a mosquito swatter, yes, in winter, that sang eye of the tiger when you switched it on, and many more crazy gifts. Tae's snow globe had disco lights when you turned it over, no snow, he loved it. Jungkook got a rubber bottle opener, so no matter how hard you try, it just bends, so instead, he used it to hit Soobin's butt, who gave it too him, grinning and winking at Tae when he saw it was a nice little toy for something else...... Taehyung blushed so red that he had to hide his head in Jungkook's neck till he calmed down.

Just before they decided to go to bed, Namjoon stood up, getting a small box from the tree, kneeling in front of Jin, who looked at him wide eyed. Opening the small box, Jin saw a diamond ring, like the one he has been gashing over for months. "Kim Seokjin, will you make me the happiest man and agree to be mine forever?" Jin could just nod, a small yes and then tears. Everybody cheered, joking that maybe this was the trip for true love. Jin just laughed through his tears; he loved this man.

When they all finally went to bed, Jungkook walked and stood in front of Tae near the window, looking at the snow falling. "Baby? Can I give you my gift now?" Tae whipped his head around. "What gift Koo, I thought the necklace and earrings were my gift." "oh no baby, they were just because I love you, You are worth so much more. But I have to combine your xmas and birthday gift into one, I hope that is ok?" Tae just stared. Jungkook took a longish box from behind his back. This is the first part of the gift. Tae opened it, plane tickets, to Scotland, for the middle of January. "Koo?" "Our honeymoon baby, I know how you wanted to see the Scottish Highlands and the history" "It is in two weeks Koo?" "Yes baby, I want to marry you soon, I don't want to wait, I hope you are ok with that?" "I love you, Koo, I want to marry you soon too" Tears were shining in the blue eyes, but happy tears, coupled with a smile that can lighten the darkest day. "And now the second part, that is why I had to combine, as you will be busy on your birthday" "Busy? With what Koo?" Jungkook took out a small violet bag, giving it too Tae. Tae looked inside, seeing a fancy key, taking it out he looked at the key, confusion on his face. "You will be helping me to move into our new house" Tae's eyes were growing bigger by the second, his small hands over his mouth, looking at the key, then Jungkook, then the key.... "It is a beautiful house with a garden, a pool and a studio for you, so you can start painting again. And hopefully, when we can adopt a kid or 5, they will have so much space to play..." Jungkook stayed silent, waiting for any reaction, he is starting to think maybe it was too much, that he has overwhelmed the small boy. Suddenly Tae launched himself at Jungkook, who caught him and held him close, feeling the tears on his chest, sobs coming from the body in his arms. Jungkook kept quiet, waiting to see first what the reaction would be. Then Tae looked up at him, through tear filled eyes. "I love you so much, Koo. You want a family with me..." And tears falling again, but Jungkook didn't care, he just kissed the boy on that precious mouth, then his eyes, his nose, his cheeks, mouth again, making the boy giggle, and Jungkook knew that Tae was happy. He picked him up and twirled him around the room. "And all our friends agreed to help, so we are moving on the 29th, finish on the 30th and have your birthday party that evening, everything is arranged, you just have to help with getting everything in place at our new house, but I don't mind if it takes a week to unpack".

Taehyung was never so happy in his life, he got engaged to the man he loves with his whole heart, he is going to Scotland after getting married in three weeks, next week he is moving into a house with his love, his friends are all there. Maybe he should just inform his parents.... Naaah, later. They made love, touching, tasting, kissing, crying each other's names as they came, falling asleep in each other's arms.
