an: okay so i always wanted naira to stand up for herself during the kairav track when the family members got to know that she was in goa and alive. because it wasn't her fault and no woman would give explanation about how she didn't do that when she is being doubted or questioned by her own husband. because that means the husband didn't trust her.

this is my version of the track which i wanted to see.

"didn't you think of us?"

"you died once, but kartik died daily."

"you made a huge mistake. you kept kairav away from his family."

she was tired of all these accusations when they didn't know the real reason. she was about to say something, when she felt a slap.

badi dadi slapped her.

she kept quiet and listened to all the accusations they gave her. "you don't deserve to be loved. you don't deserve your son. i hope he never comes back to you." the statement dadi gave with so much hatred, angered her.

she had listened all this nonsense but not this time. "shut up! just shut the fuck up! all of you." she shouted.

"naira! you are cursing in front of the family!" kartik hissed.

"and what about your family who has been cursing me? since the day i came after marrying you?" naira glared.

kartik kept quiet. "if i made a mistake by keeping my son away, then your kittu isn't any angel."

"ask him what the fuck he did five years ago!"

everyone turned to him. kartik felt ashamed and looked down, not making any eye contact with anyone.

"can't tell, right? let me tell kartik. he asked me whether i had sex with mihir or not." naira said making everyone shocked.

manish went and slapped kartik. everyone was shouting at kartik but dadi still blamed naira.

"you could've told us." dadi spat.

"as if you would've believed me." naira rolled her eyes.

dad was about to say something when naira cut her off. "oh please. please don't say that 'ek baar bol kar do dekhti' and shit." naira huffed.

"why are you showing this much attitude naira? if it was kartik's fault, then it was yours too. you kept his son away from him." swarna shouted.

"yeah whatever. listen, i don't have time for all this shit so let me explain you. i was going to tell kartik that i was pregnant that night. but he asked that question and fucked up everything. stuff happened, i went to goa. there when i was delivering kairav, i was in labour for almost 14 hours. i even called your kartik but he declined. so i had to be with kairav all alone. if he missed me, then i did too. if he died daily, i died too. if you all missed me during every festival, then i did too. not a single time went when i didn't fast for kartik during teej or karva chauth. god knows if i didn't, he wouldn't be here right now." naira said.

"how can you?!" dadi shouted at the last statement.

"did you know now how it felt? when i died daily but no one looked at my pain. it felt like that." naira said with venom in her voice.
