Chapter 3

Alexis' P.O.V.

I woke up and looked at the clock. I saw that it was 10:30. I slid out of bed and got ready.

After I put in my last piercing, I grabbed everything I needed and headed out.

A few minutes later, I finally arrived at the Prudential Center.

I sat in the car and stared at the building. I remembered a quote my dad always told me .

"Always expect the unexpected because things can change in a flash. The odds will be in your favor whether the change is good or not," I whispered.

I got out the car and locked it.

I sighed and slowly made my way to the building.

I sat down with everyone. I saw some people chatting, staring at me funny, or staring into space.

I ignored everyone and went through my phone.

I was in the middle of beating my high score on Inchy until someone stood in front of me and cleared their throat.

I looked up to meet a pair of green eyes.

He smiled and squatted down to my level.

"Hey there. I'm Stephen Curry," he said holding out his hand.

I shook it. "Hi, I'm Alexis Parker."

His face twisted in shock.

"I've heard about you. Your stats are fantastic," he said in awe.

I smirked, "Thanks. I've heard about you too. Pretty impressive yourself."

He blushed, "T-thanks. Hey, um, I'll catch you later. I look forward to seeing you on the court."

"Same to you, Curry."

He awkwardly waved and went to his seat.

I watched him and shook my head amused.

This is gonna be a weird experience...

Well that was Chapter 3. This one kinda sucked but I promise the next one will be better.
